Squads are usually just named alphabetically or numerically, and in no way would they name themselves Tombstone.
Why can't we have a game about Pvt. Thomas from 3rd squad, 1st Platoon, B Company, 2nd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment who's fighting on the front line and just trying to make it out alive instead of Captain LookAtMySixPackManImRippedCmonBasterdsIllEatYourHeartOut from **** you and Die Squad on their mission to kill DarkEvilOverlord Stalin before he uses nuclear boosters to crash the Moon into the US
While I'm a big fan of Company of Heroes, I'm really disappointed by CoH2. First of all very little has changed, I would have expected they would have improved the cover animations for the soldiers, and maybe added bigger maps so fighting would be longer-ranged. Physics could have been improved and new mechanics added.
But this basically looks, feels and plays like Company of Heroes 1, with the pointless and really annoying freezing mechanic thrown in "SO YOU CAN FEEL DA RUSSIAN WINTAR".
The worst part is that while I can run Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts maxed out at around 30-40 FPS on this laptop, I can't even run Company of Heroes 2 at low settings above around 15 FPS. I would have understood this if the game was unbelievably good looking, but what the hell have the messed up with the optimization that you get such appalling performance for identical results?
