I've been doing just that with Mass Effect. The Witcher EE Director's Cut, or Mass Effect.
I need to work on building up some more saved games on Mass Effect so I can see everything on Mass Effect 2 when it is released.:)

StarCraft is a must for those situations. And that is mostly it for me. Sometimes I go back to an old Apple favorite, the Escape Velocity series. When gaming is on the slow down, when there are no games on your tracked list, what game can you always fall back to for fun? I always enjoy a round of Starcraft or some runs in Diablo 2.

EVE online, great pick.
On another note, I don't know this can even run on newer systems but StarLancer (the Freelancer predecessor) is an excellent space combat sim. Not the same open gameplay as freelancer though.
[QUOTE="THA-TODD-BEAST"]I used to argue against this, but it really seems like Blizzard is becoming that money hungry developer (much like the old EA). Thats the free market. They make a superior product and people are willing to pay.Dude, it's Blizzard.
World of Warcraft and its expansions - Ripoff.
Blizzcon coverage - Ripoff.
Starcraft in three separate parts - Ripoff.
Get used to it. This is only the beginning.

I agree about the need for more western games. I think it can be tough to pull off, but done right...

Well like i said the story choices will be moved over while things like "level" and equipment and so on won't. So in the end you only need to play the game once. =(
Phoenix534
Actually, you're level will transfer. That's why they doubled the cap to 120.
Really? I didn't know that. The mechanism sounds pretty sophisticated. And this thread is making me want to play another game to make some different choices![QUOTE="dos4gw82"]
This is worse than the Left 4 Dead 2 announcement.
JackBurton
No kidding its worse. Its like a kick to the nuts. What the hell are you supposed to do now? If they drop us I wont buy another TW game again. And they choose to make it story driven now? NOW?I bought this for cheap but now I wish I could sell it. Gamesterpheonix
Wow, just wow! I'm still waiting to open/play Empire: TW, a day-1 purchase, bc never again will I (knowingly) pay to be a beta-tester.
I don't think it was as poor a product as so many people make it out to be. And again, people love to complain about glitches and problems, but I can live with problems as long as they are patched. In a way if you buy a new new game, you have to expect some problems.
I would have to go with Brood War. I've been waiting for the next chapter in the StarCraft story for all these years!
