The seller did put up the warning, "...this does not guarantee you a unit at launch...". So, if they sell out before fufilling all the pre-orders, you would have to wait for another shipment from Sony, which would depend on Sony and may take more than a day or two.
What took my surprise was "this version of the PlayStation 3 is NOT backwards compatible with PlayStation 2 games". Hope that was in error but probably would not have used that feature anyway.
Graphics power of PS3 has been a known issue, being not as sharp looking asXBox 360. The issue has been taliked about by developers and is old news.PS3 does have a more powerful CPU butso far it's not been enough to compensate in the graphics area. Hopefully, Sony will find a way to work around the problem, especially by the time that Killzone 2 comes out.
>why developers aren't making good graphical games for wii? its more powerful than xbox.
In recent articles, developers said that the graphic power of the Wii is less than XBox. Wii is close to Xbox, though. I think it's probably hard to really compare the two in reality.
I do have a Wii and think it's the best choice out of the consoles out there for the fun factor in a small package. I know people that have tried playing it and wanted to get it and others still looking to buy one. As for whether to buy it, I would say buy it knowing that it's a fun little machine that gets you involved with the game (some successful, others not) with more of a cartoony slant to graphics. If you are looking for next gen graphics, look elsewhere.
Gamespot wrote, "The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, produced by longtime Spidey developer Treyarch, were essentially slightly upgraded versions of the previous Spider-Man movie games. The Wii and PlayStation 2 versions were put together by a different studio, Vicarious Visions, and are severely downgraded from the benchmark set by previous Spider-Man movie games."
