I have a tv that can reach 1080p but my ps3 only plays GT5prolgue at that resolution. Every other game plays at 720. What do i need to do?

Im pickin up my pre ordered copy of GTA4 tonight at an EBGames inside the local mall. Midnight launch. Is this not the greatest thing since GTA 3?

I am able to sign in online but when i try to get in on COD4 the message Unable to connect to activision matchmaking pops up. what the hell do i need to do

I dont have the yellow light but lately my ps3 has been taking forever to load games. After i select the game at the mainscreen the screen goes blank for about a minute or 2. Anyone know whats up?
