So in my Amazon order I got two games: Gran Turismo PSP and Red Faction Guerrilla. Here are my opinions on them:
Gran Turismo - This is in my opinion, the best game yet. That it released with the PSPgo is no coincidence: this is the very definition of a pick up and play game. The lack of a single-player career is in my eyes, the best thing about it. You just select a type of race, laps, car, and track and away you go. Even if you only have 3 minutes to spare, you can still get somewhere. Every two days (when you exit to the title screen, it adds a day) it changes the 4 dealerships, with a max of 10 cars in each. Now, I would be very happy with this if it wasn't for the fact that after just 20 days (so 10 sets of dealers) I've seen Mazda no less than 5 times, yet I still haven't seen Ferrarri. So, a solid game let down by one quite big flaw.
Red Faction Guerrilla - AMAZING. I got this game for just one reason - the destruction. I just love games with destruction, and this is my favourite yet. Mars looks like you think it would if we did colonize it, and you also think maybe there WOULD be two rival factions. Us humans are greedy at the best of times. Having said that, I still don't want to play through the campaign. Reason? Even on recruit, it will be a challenge for the average gamer to get through. And, annoyingly, you have to play through to unlock all six areas of Mars. The areas aren't that big, but I have half of Mars at the moment. Online I haven't yet tried, but it looks brilliant, and so does Wrecking Crew (pass-the-controller game) and the achievements are good as well.
