A very enjoyable read at Arstechnica. It includes some fun bits I didn't know, such as the problems between the American and Japanese branches.

Fun fact: Sega was originally an American company! To top that off, it was founded in Honolulu, Hawai'i, 1940, no less. That's a 20-minute flight away.
