After the show's cliffhanger, I honestly wanted to stop watching Netflix altogether. This is the best news I got all week. The first season definitely had weaknesses, but the second season took a good character-based foundation and elevated it to epic proportions. This show deserves a third season, so make it happen Netflix.
@defiler: Firstly, Your previous comment was, " When did it become a crime to be a Caucasian with a penis in this country?" This implies Caucasian males are excluded from major opportunities, and diversity has only negative concequences relating to this group. I based my whole argument on this implication. If I am wrong, I apologize, if not continue.
Secondly, You assume lack of representation is only caused by lack of interest by different groups which is a fallacy in itself. Before my time, Baseball didn't allow people of color into major league baseball before Jackie Robinson and Moses Fleetwood Walker . No one asked whether baseball was diverse enough then. Again, this is a long tme ago, but the lesson is to infuse diversity into corporate culture. Rasism guided past decisions, but today we have mostly cultural basis. Employers tend, for various reasons, to want someone with the same cultural background as them. Diversity is just a way to balance the scales(Sometimes it is done badly). People can feel excluded without anyone really doing anything. Women felt ostrizied from gaming because gaming always appeared male centric. Inviting women into the video game industry was made to shed some streotypes caused by media and other reasons. How is that wrong or threating to white males? Caucasian males still dominate the industry that almost 50 percent of which are women gamers.
Lastly, The industry I decided to major in at college was suggested to me by a professor, because I impressed him. I had no interest or understanding of the industry he described, but he soon won me over. Are you saying he was wrong to recruit me in a Caucasian Male dominated industry I did not intially show interest in?
PS: There aren't enough Jewish professional basketball players to be honest (Joke to lighten the mood), but what is the harm of asking a talented Jewish player if he wanted to play professionally?(Being totally Serious)
PSS: I think sports is a terrible standard for diversity because of athletic ability being the primary reason for hiring someone. In the Technology Industry, tech skills can be learned or taught. Natural talent isn't the biggest contributing hiring factor.
@defiler: It never was a crime to be a Caucasian male in this country. Diversity is about inclusion, not exclusion. Any industry benefits from different perspectives, especially creative industries.
Although I am an African American male, I don't mind watching different characters with different backgrounds. However, when I see something like Black Panther or Luke Cage, I get very excited to see a few characters that represent my culture. Is it really that bad seeing other cultures represented in the games industry?
Diversity helps people understand various perspectives. I think our country could use a little understanding, especially since we have never been more divided since the civil war. Don't you?
I have played Bungie's games for years including Oni on the Playstation 2. Destiny is probably going to be the first game I get for a PS4. I just hope it lives up to the hype, but with Bungie's reputation and history I think it will. Please send me a beta code. I would like to give this game a shot on my PS3.

That was well said. Not everyone has to share the same opinion about any form of art (which in my opinion video games are). I don't agree with Laura's opinions, and may even think they weren' t worth sharing because of the limited sampling of the game. Although, as a journalist, no a human being, she has the right to express her opinions. People need to accept that without making negative, sexist, and ignorant opinions (although they have the right) that don't contribute to the conversation, and make the internet a better place.
The Ps3 media server is a great and uncomplicated system. After 5-10 minutes, I got it reading files(medium to large MKV files) that I have had trouble watching on my PS3 with the standard windows media player sharing. I recommend it entirely. I feel extremely relieved; gamespot, thank you for the update, I have been racking my brain over translating file fomats for months. PS: To everyone on the forums saying that this update is useless( I understand your point). Windows media p. files sharing system is not flawless and only plays a very limited amount of formats, making it a pain if your downloading weird formats. Also, I like to watch a MKV file on a large flat screen tv instead of a reasonablely sized computer screen. Just my opinion. Peace.
