My biggest let down was Metal Gear Solid 4.... wait wait, that was one of the best games ever made(in my book). My biggest disappointment was Assassin's Creed and Rachet & Clank:TOD. R&C just didn't bring anything new to the table except pixar like graphics and a few crazy weapons. Assassins Creed was a let down because of its repetition and lack of "Assassination mode"( I think it never had this mode)- so you can assassinate a target without going through the repetitive missions again. That would increase its longevity.

Socom is playable, but in my opinion, it is one of the worst online multiplayer games in the market. It manages to be somewhat fun, but compared to resistance 2 and killzone 2, it doesn't cut it.
Ultimately, it is your choice, buy it if you enjoyed previous socoms intensely, but if your just looking for a excellent multiplayer game, l suggest looking somewhere else. R2, Killzone 2, and Metal Gear S4 have this and good single player campaigns.
Welcome to gamespot,
Friend me, I have Resistance 2( I like to think I am good at coop and getting better at competitive), SOCOM( I hate this game- just too glitchy/just my opinion), Metal Gear Online, and Tekken:Dark Resurrection( If anyone still plays this game). I probably also be getting Killzone in a few days.

you can put your old PS2 data on a PS3. However, you must have a PS3 to PS2 memory card converter for about 20 to 30 dollars if I am not mistaken. Look on Amazon, you may be able to get a good price there.
Ps: Man, I hope she's worth the it. When you give(let her borrow)her the PS3 make sure see signs a contract/premuntual agreement. :)
I already said my peace, but If anyone would like to friend me so we could chat on the home beta your welcome too. I am looking for some friends for MGS4/MGO and Resistance 2

Home is an interesting system.
The loading times are relatively quick but require you to download an entire section before you could enter.Concerning the running, what someone said earlier is correct. Fast but not fast enough
Referring to it as boring depends on what your doing. As long as you make friends there, and focus on Home's purpose( a conduit to gather your friends and launch a game) you will have a blast. However, there aren't many people in the beta, so you have to make all new friends(none of my regular friends got into the beta) which could cause boredom if your not sociable.
Give it a chance when it comes out. You may like what you see. Although, if you don't like it, you can just start a normal chat room or just talk and join your friends if they're already playing the game of choice.
I also been looking for friends with mics. Just isn't the same without the wise cracks. Everone usually has a mic on xbox live; the cost of having a relatively new online system. However, I have faith.
