That's probably the best value for money I ever saw! I have the Acer 5520G with 8600GS and it works great! I think you will enjoy it a lot! I probably will buy one myself later on. A little overclocking is good if you know what you're doing. These laptops are meant for it. Just don't hurt your laptop by increasing the clock speeds too much.commander55

but that is on DDR2, not DDR3 which my new laptop is.... some people say that is about 10-20% difference, but in all honesty.... i know nothing about them.

sounds good though, it also has full HD high res screen and dolby 2.1 2nd generation something.

i saw on youtube, crysis being played at a good setting and smooth framerates too, but he said he overclocked it which id rather not do as knowing me, id probably damage it.

some people say the same about cpu overclocking, but again... knowing my luck, id still manage to damage it with a stepbystep guide.

i bought an american version too, and a converter.

converter hasnt arrived yet, so i purchased a UK charger today, so i can use my present :)

and it works great (also the charger was cheaper than i paid for the converter, just £4.99 from HMV)
