Nintendo wishes to put out their entire library of games. If they do their big titles all at once, no ones going to care about it later. They want the VC to be a thing you're going back to all throughout the Wii's life. It's poor marketing strategy if they don't space out the big titles. Not to mention some of those titles that "no one has ever heard of" are gems. I have more fun downloading VC titles that I've never heard of but that get rave reviews than I do playing through Pokemon Snap again. Sin and Punishment is an amazing game that in the past would've cost a lot more than 12 dollars to acquire. And while from a consumer standpoint, it doesn't make sense to have Majora's Mask a million years down the road, look at it from Nintendo's stance.

I think they need more alternative and indie stuff. Modest Mouse is a must for the next expansion/game/DLC. Even something from the new album, anything! Dashboard would be a great co-op song. If they still need something poppy, they could put MuteMath's "Typical" in. It needs a lot less 80's garbage and less BAD classic rock too. No more Kiss. Kiss is a joke. They're just a stage act. Bret Michaels and all of Poison need to die. Also, why did they use the Dead Kennedy's with their new singer? Bullcrap if you ask me. They need a lot more weird music. More Nine Inch Nails and Mindless Self Indulgence. Oh! "Just" by Radiohead would be awesome. It accelerates so much at the end and catch people off guard. Awesome.

Terrible. It screams fanfic. Any game where the main attack or action is a swing of the wii remote is going to be terrible.

I hope a Nintendo rep is reading this, and a little light is turning on in his mind, and he thinks, "maybe, Nintendo as a company should release a git-dang headset!!! Especially since talking trash in Super Smash Bros. is a must.

In my opinion it's unbearable to play Wii on big widescreen TV w/o component cables. I got mine off of newegg BTW.

It's funny you should mention that...I just played the Wii a couple days ago and had to do a system update, and it took all of a minute.

But then today I go to Zellers, HMV, EBgames, and nobody has Mario Galaxy. I try downtown and still, nobody has it. Then I try back at the mall just after 12, and EBgames had a pile. I happily purchased my copy and went straight home, only to endoure a full episode of Diego's Rescue Pack...then it was my son's nap time, so I put in the Mario Galaxy disc and...

"An error has occured. Please eject your disc and turn off power to the console and refer to the Nintendo troubleshooting guide for assistance." That's what was on my tv screen. So I ejected the disc, turned the console off...turned the console back on and put the disc in to see if it would work the second time around. The Wii made this horrible coffee grinder like noise and wouldn't acknowledge that a disc was supposed to be being read.

So I clicked on the Wii channel screen on where Mario Galaxy should have been, and it showed a gamecube disc? and Prompted a Wii System Update. So I did the update which took all of thirty seconds, and it's played like a charm sinse.

It was quite a scare for a game I was excited to play, and I had told my daughter that if she was good all weekend, I'd pick up Mario Galaxy. So I was pretty choked at the possibility of my Wii breaking down the day I get Mario Galaxy.

Uh, I'm pretty sure you have to do a system update whenever you put a new game in. I remember it happening with MP3, too.

It's only first party games that utilize the Wii in a different way. You don't update for all Wii games, that'd be rediculous.

Wifi is another term for wireless internet. If you have internet at your house, you can use it with the Wii, whether it be a router or a Nintendo wifi connector.

Not stupid. Just misinformed. Thing is, when I played Halo 3 at LAN paries and such, I found the game to be the exact same thing as the first two. They might as well have gone the Half-Life way and called them Halo: Episode 1, and Episode 2. I could see someone buying an Xbox 360 just Gears of War, or just for BioShock, or just for Mass Effect, or just for Oblivion. Those are all great new and inventive games. Halo? It's not. It's an HD rehash with some new maps and weapons.
