I would like the people posting here name one fps that does everything that halo does out of the box (i.e. forge, theater, firefight, MP, SP without having to install additional software.) For everything that pc gamers say about halo being console shooter and doesnt match up to what pc has, I really would like to hear which pc game offers the wide variety of options, and does a good job of each part. Not saying halo is perfect, but it is the most complete package as far as games go and does in fact require a lot of skill and teamwork, and had halo come out orignally for pc there is no doubt everyone here would love it

Out of the box? lets see. Source Engine. 'nuff said. Source laughs at Halo.

Great game? No. Halo is worth nothing to me, I play real FPS that are decent and not lame/generic. IMO, Halo should never have come to PC, thats just embarrassing and an insult to PC gamers for giving us trash.

Well, the game can only look so good right... but, if you hvent already, go to your GPU control panel and max force all the settings possible and set everything to max detail.

amazing single player! Multiplayer is good, but mechanics feel outdated imo. Such as no formations, no scatter hotkey, like in C&C, sc2 is better than c&c imo, BUT c&c had WAY better micro mechanics hands down, just the strategy part and balance issues with cc isnt that great.

I do it. It sucks, but you gotta do what you gotta do to pay the bills and set up a life for yourself... I almost dropped out this semester, but I was like F- that I'm not wasting all the work I put in, Ill just hold off till Christmas when I can get maybe a week off if im lucky. Im also feeling really burnt out at the moment, but I know the semester is almost done, then I wont have so much on my shoulders, I feel like Atlas atm.

I noticed, too, a lot of more new games tend to have less social interaction. I think its because people are only concerned about getting their rank up, or the next unlock etc. and older traditional games like CS,CSS, TF, TF2, etc. tend to have lots of social interaction; which I tend to play more of because its just much more fun talking a lot during games than absolute silence.
