Only looking for a Safari with Chansey in it so I probably won't respond to messages without one. :( My friend list is getting pretty full, so I don't plan on adding random safaris.

Although I'm not certain, I'm sure enough that FFXIII will have a more similar system to Kingdom Hearts. Crisis Core is unique in its own way in which 7 is continuously used to symbolize luck to a degree. Hence the "Department of Motor Vehicles" system is used. Of course, we won't know much info about XIII until SE decides to give us more of a scoop, but the fighting should be much faster than Crisis Core. However, CC does make you wonder about Zack; how strong would he be if he were to survive the onslaught?

Hard mode is EASY once you start materia fusion. Once you start farming stones and whatnot, Zack will become a monster. Not to mention breaking the 999/9999 limit. Zack becomes a monster. Only difference in hard? You need to take more time investing in the deeper side of Crisis Core to make it easy.

I suppose people base Sega's success on Sonic Team's games. Of course, a majority of their gold has turned into ash somehow. Perhaps key people leaving were the main factors? Prrrobably. Sonic for PS3 and XB360 were horrible, Phantasy Star is going down, Shining Force became a Diablo Clone. (The only exception is Sonic for the DS.)

Though, we can all have faith in Treasure.

Worried about a scratch disc? If you go to a local Game Stop with high credibility with unscratched games, then you are on the right track. Certain stores may have a very anal manager that is a pain to those who trade in scratched games. In fact, I was one of those...If a scratch is too noticible then I sent it back to warehouse regardless of the situation.

Though, small scratches should be playable unless you are one of those who refuses to have ONE small scratch. Downsides of used? When some one does not know how to distinguish a fake game with a real one. To use an obvious example? This is true.

Pokemon Ruby: Actual game, but instead of that clear red casing? It came with an original grey casing and on the back...It said Ninfendo. :/.....The bank taught me something that made sense..Counterfeiters always make typos....Especially on something that should NOT be messed up, like a company's name.

Game Discs are easily distinguished. People often use horrible ink or they use Discs that are not the normal color of a game disc.

It is a collector's item just like the Final Fantaasy III DS model that looks like any other Pearl White DS, but has the characters on it. If you're a really big fan of the series, then picking this up is a good idea. If not, save your money since it does not improve anything except give it a face lift. I wanted one at one point, but then it's very pointless when I can just photoshop a graphic and wrap it around my PSP.

Even if this is the definitive version of FFIV, it doesn't change the fact that they just released a GBA version 2 years ago.MAILER_DAEMON

Not only that, but there was the remake for the PSX with added CG scenes. There's so many, but I do not mind playing FF4 again. The story of Cecil and his struggle is by far one of my favorite stories of the Final Fantasy world.

Great....Another Shiren game. It looks nice, but I was never a fan of the Shiren series. In fact, this game DOES have the chance of coming to the US and it's solely based on the Shiren game that's being localized right now. If that does fairly well, we can expect a potential Wii version....

Though am I excited? No...Although those who've played the Shirenc games and enjoyed the random dungeon experience will eat this one up.

The only reason why you're a Guru is because you've played Final Fantasy games since they were in their original forms IN THE US. FFX? By far, it had the worst final boss battle I ever fought in. It had a lot to do, I give it that and I loved Blitz Ball. It also showcased Nobuo's experiment with different genres. However, the game was not even close to amazing to me. Judging by your "knowledge," you would've added Final Fantasy Adventure, and the Final Fantasy Legends games. All in which were only given the names due to the popularity of Final Fantasy at the time. If given a different name, Squaresoft was scared that it may not sell as well.

As for the reason why IV and VI were given different numbers at first? If one actually dives down, it's pretty obvious that it was due to the fact that the original II's and III's were not released in the US. Gamers would've been confused about the sudden jump in numbers and wonder where the originals went. Eventually, word got past that II and III were around. Hence, the change would begin when VII arrived. As for my top five Final Fantasy games:

1)) VI- The game remains as one of Square's beloved treasures since the SNES days along with an oddly comical villain in Kefka.

2) V - I loved the different abilities formed with the jobs. It was like a very updated version of the job system and seemed to have been used in other branches of the Final Fantasy name. (Jobs giving various abilities, not the FFIII way of strengthening your character.)

3) IV- To me, this is the greatest story told in Final Fantasy. The internal conflict Cecil had with becoming the Dark Knight until reaching his Paladin status was amazing. Plus, the questioning Cecil had with the destruction of Mist and Rydia losing her family because of it. It really made me feel pity for Cecil.

4) VII- It had a lot of things to collect and it began the tradition of extremely long summons that annoy gamers. Lots of mini games too and created a lot of pop culture around the series.

5) XII- I liked the battle system and the much more serious tone gave it a bit of a mature look aside from cute little moogles. Plus, FFXII international seems to improve the game in a lot of aspects. Though the MMO drop rates may feel annoying in a single player RPG.

By far the Final Fantasy series may not be the greatest, but it's the most captivating. It was also home to Uematsu, our beloved gaming musician. In terms of RPGs, I'm moe bound to finish a FF game than any other RPG due to it captivating me.
