Hey folks i finally bought Castlevania Dracula X for the psp, and i got to admit its takin over my soul.:P
This game is super amazing that i can play all day:lol: everything's so well made, the graphics, the remastared soundtracks all great. And Richter kicks butt.8)
Im glad to have it in my collection :D thanks to konami!!!
And i hope order of ecclesia is gonna be out soon:)i wish konami will think about a 3D castlevania like Dracula X chronicles but with a new story of Simon Belmont or even it could be an old one, like Super Castlevania IV remaked. but i prefer a new Simon Belmont story.I just want so badly to see Simon in 3D graphics 8)
cheers!!!
Castlevania games had entertaint us for years, since the 80's when Castlevania 1st appeared for the nes/famicon systems and the arcade coinop. Then a whole generation was created and it made us conquer the world of Transylavnia and Dracula!
The most exciting thing about Castlevania is that is based on the true legend of count Vlad Tepes Dracul, the astonishing gothic features, great music backrounds, dungeons and most important the heroe's struggle and confrontations to stop Dracula and it's forces from ruling the world.
The 1st hero appeared and my favorite also, is Simon Belmont.A man well trained and armed with the power of will and the legendary vampire killer whip, conquers the castle of the dark lord and strike down the evil ghoul's forces.
After the Simon Belmont ages konami's plans for storyline grew, and so many other castlevania series released in different consoles such as gameboy,psx,ps2,nintendo ds.
at the 90's some great castlevania hits came up.Those were Dracula X for snes and pc engine, and Symphony of the night for psx.
Those helped a lot konami to make a whole generation of the series.especially symphony of the night offered to the fans somethin new and very special, to prove their skills by:leveling up,collecting relics, casting spells, equiping. material, summoning, unlockin soundtracks and such.
There was also a castlevania game supposed to be realized at the year of 1999 it was castlevania:resurrection for the sega dreamcast system, and that was goin to be the 1st 128 bit castlevania which the main character was goin to be sonia belmont from the castlevania legends for gameboy.unfortunately castlevania resurrection was cancelled and we werent able to enjoy it.
Though other 3D titles were released such as:Castlevania 64 and a varation of it,legacy of darkness for the nintendo 64 system.I can say it was a great game and the 1st one to be 3D but unlike the others was not so interesting for me.
At 2003 the 1st castlvania for ps2 came in lament of innocence, very satisfaying game in my opionion and offers to the player a lot and a chance to learn the story of the vampire killer.
After that, konami's castlevania generation keeps movin on and rockin' our souls.with the new hits, such the perfect made sequel of aria of sorrow, the Dawn of sorrow for the nintendo ds and the new super improved remake of dracula x for the psp.
If youre gonna be a castlevania player you got to have a lot of patience and be focused on what you do.
I suggest you start from the old classic ones which are the harder ones,or just play the best castlevania games,
Castlevania fans keep rockin dracula's world!:)
New players, join us and play those perfect games, from my opinion and which i strongly suggest you, games are castlevania:symphony of the night, aria of sorrow and dawn of sorrow, super castlevania iv,dracula x and castlevania legends.
I suggest you to buy the original ones from a store or if its difficult for you,you can just download some of them from sites such as coolrom.com
Thanks for reading!
Cheers and may the force be with you!!!:)
