Spamming on tv.com?

Hi,

I know it's been a while since my last blog entry. Sorry for that.

Today I got a really message here. Someone asked me to visit another site and chat with her there. I followed the link and it's one of those sign up/friend finder network site. I don't know if somebody already had this experience but I find it kind of disturbing that we now get Spam mails here as personal messages. I always thought that this site was Spam-free. I guess I was wrong...

I hope you're all doing fine. Next week Uni starts again. Will be the last year for me and I can't wait to get my degree.

I wish you all the best.

Happy Easter!!!

I hope you all have a Happy Easter!

Don't eat too much chocolate and easter-eggs. I hope that the weather is much better than it is here and you can enjoy the holidays.

Happy New Year!

I wish you all a Happy New Year!

I hope that you all had some wonderful Christmas days and a great start into 2008.

I watched the firework from my parents house where you have a great view over the city. And because we're allowed to make our own firework, you can see it all over the city and not just on one spot. It's a fantastic view.

Wish you all the best for this year.

Merry Christmas!

I wish you all Merry Christmas!

I hope you'll have some wonderful holidays and that you can enjoy these great days.

I wish you all the best for 2008!

Hope that you'll get everything you desire.

Going to Milan, Birthday and other stuff

Hi,
am planning on going to Milan, Italy, for a few weeks. A friend of mine owns a flat over there and offered me to stay there when ever I want. I actually never took the opportunity to stay there but think that I will try to go there this "summer". The weather here in Germany is driving me crazy, it's cold and raining all the time. I really need some holiday. And Milan is supposed to be a really interesting city. The museums, the cathedral and all that stuff must be quite fascinating. And the Swiss border isn't far away too so the Alps are close and doing some hiking over there was always one of my dreams.
Because it's my birthday today I'm really looking forward to spend some todays away from home and just relax at a warm place. Don't get me wrong, I really love to celebrate with my family and friends but because it's August and in the last years the weather has always been fine and sunny, I'm really missing the warm weather. Maybe I'll find some time to go on holidays. Hopefully.
In 3 weeks Uni starts again and I'll have to write 3 exams again. So I can't really enjoy the free time because of learning and preparing for exams but because the weather is so bad over here I don't really mind to spend my time in front of my desk and reading books. And occasionally surfing the web ;)
Hope you all are having a great time.

London was calling!

Hi folks,

haven't been online for quite a while because I had to work for the last couple of weeks. Was working for an small aircraft manufacturer and was doing some repair-work and routine-checks. Was actually really funny because you learn a lot about how the aircraft works and what might go wrong in case of an failure and how to act in such a situation. But more important, I learned quite a lot for Uni too, Just hope that I can use that in a good way and it will help me to pass my exams.

Last week I was in London because one of my travel-mates was celebrating her birthday and all of my friends were going there as well so it was really nice to catch up with them after 2 years. We had a lot to talk about since we haven't seen each other for that long and it was really funny to get to know what had changed in their lifes since the trip around Australia and how the trip affected their life as well.

Hope that we will meet each other pretty soon again and maybe even find some time to travel again. Miss them so much and really enjoyed the time in London. Unfortunately I haven't had much time to do some proper sight-seeing because of the birthday but that was ok for me. Maybe will find some more time in September to do the tourist-thingy and visit all the attractions like Big Ben, the Buckingham-Palace and the Tower of London and maybe do the Dan Brown tourist route.

Hope that you enjoyed reading my blog and let me know what you think.

Impressions from Australia / Plans for going overseas

HI,
I decided to upload some of my pictures that I've taken during my trip around Australia, to picasa. So for those who are interested in what Australia might look like and what kind of animals there live, check them out.

Here's the link:

These are only 70 of 700 or 800 pictures that I've taken but I think they'll give you some kind of an impression. If you want to know what the image is about please let me know and I will post a short description to every one, as far as I can remember.I hope you'll find some time and maybe I will upload more if you're interested.

Last week I've decided to do an internship overseas. I had these plans for ages but I finally made my mind up and talked to several professors ad they gave me the advice to do it. So now I'm searching for job as an intern in the aerospace technology. I talked to several friends in the USA but they all said, that it would be quiet difficult to find a place as a foreigner because of the strict security issues they have over there. So now I'm thinking about going to Canada or back to Australia again. But haven't decided yet.

So if anybody knows someplace where I could try to get a job as an intern let know.

With some luck I'll find a place to stay and who knows maybe my future employer.

Getting itchy feet again.

Don't know if you feel the same but I'm longing for the faraway.

The warm weather, the lack of a beach and sea provoke the need for long holidays. Haven't told you that I spent almost a year away from home in Australia and travelled around the continent most of the time.

Being able or allowed to spend every day lying on the beach, going scuba-diving when ever you want and watching the most beautiful sunsets was an experience that changed my life forever. Since then I always get the feeling that something is missing when I'm at home, learning for the exams and going to Uni.

Sometimes I just sit in the park and watch the airplanes flying above me and I think about their destinations and the different places they are flyin to. Helps me to stay focused to finish Uni as fast as possible and then being able to travel a lot around the world and experience new cultures, see new continents and meet different and interesting people.

I just can't wait to spend a few months as a backpacker to do what I want.

Hope that this will be soon but am afraid will take at least another year and a half. But maybe I am able go on holidays this summer and fly to the Maldives or another beautiful dive-location.

Hope you all are well and that you can enjoy the most fantastic weather.
