i had trouble with both microsoft designs and finally tried this plantronics model and it is much nicer and has no parts that come off like the foam pieces. it is also 20 dollars but wired. im not a fan of the wireless earpieces.

first welcome to the xbox world!! if you got a 60 gig model i would say not to worry about the warranty. i got my original 360 at launch in 05 and i had to send it back (rrod) 3 times. microsoft was very timely and took good care of me. i will say i bought the two year warranty that was 60 dollars in the box from microsoft. the only down side was the time spent sending me a box etc. if you decide to get a warranty i would get it where you bought it. it is just faster. i did just recently get a 60 gig model and sold my 20 gig just to maybe rid myself of the problem. it sounds like you like rpgs and it was a good time to get a 360. i myself dont get into them but there are plenty out and coming. i do notice that the scores given by sites are lower than the player reviews on rpgs. some of my favs are crackdown, kameo, call of duty and most fps games, bioshock was crazy fun, my gamertag is chris 122975 you can send me an invite and check out the games i have played.

i like all that you chose. i also like the g36c. basically the assault weapons and the mp5. p90 sometimes.

i almost always use stoping power and a silencer. silencer reduces range but it doesnt seem to matter too much. i also like extreme conditiong to get around or away quick.

i really try to use the demos available for download as it is too expensive to rent unless you do gamefly or something. so my overrated games are based on the demos mostly.

overrated

all halo multiplayer, just gets old fast to me but single player is amazing

mass effect only because of the slow rpg aspect, the fights are great i should have rented instead of buying this one

fear single player was plain scary but multi i thought sucked

prey story was cool but just didnt deliver and multi was terrible

underappreciated

crackdown - by far the most underated game out there, i spent hours looking for orbs, remember that noise!?!?!

assasins creed - very very good game, open world but has structure and i could look for flags all day

kameo - mario for adults, all i can say loved it

condemned - made me poop in my pants

saints row - just plain fun and tons to do

stranglehold - i never tried multi because i rentted it to beat it, but great fun

hitman blood money - when will the next one come out? very different missions, fun

overrated - not too sure but maybe fight night round 3. i just didnt get it. i thought fear was only ok and it seemed to get a 9 or so out of ten. i also thought prey was a little over rated. the multplayer was crap but the single player wasnt too bad.

as for underated games i think kameo takes the cake. i really enjoyed that game and it could have easily been a 9 or so out of ten. it was like a mario for adults. condemned was great. but it wasnt ripped too bad. saints row was a blast and had multiplayer too. and there is crackdown. i got the demo of crackdown and fell in love. it didnt get too bad ofscores but man with all the new content and all it is hours of fun finding the orbs and getting all the achievements. loved it, cant wait for crackdown 2 with multiplayer..... please!!! also shadowrun. i absolutely love that game. i know maybe it should have been less money but i really dont care if there is no single player game as the multiplayer / team aspect is amazing. not since rainbow six 3 black arrowon original xbox has there been such a great team game.
