Damn....sure has been awhile since I posted somethin. Well, where should I begin? School is ok i guess...just 1 more month and i'll be outa there for good. Damn 13 years sure has gone by fast. Will I miss it? I say no now, but in time I'll be saying yes. I'm gonna miss my friends the most. Other than that, there hasnt been much new. I've just been practicing on my guitar everyday trying to get better at it. I've come a long way since I started in Sept. I've gotten so interested in playin guitar, i hardly play games anymore. I did get a new game however, and that was Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. I managed to get my hands on a Limited Edition copy of it, which is super rare now. Thank god I preordered it in time. Also, thank god I held out on buying the game, or else i wouldve never gotten Subsistence. Basically, the Limited Edition comes with a bonus disc, with all the game's cutscenes all edited into a 3 and 1/2 hour long movie. I enjoyed it, and I'll be watching it again in the future...but I had to record it to tape, because on the disc (which is just a PS2 DVD, not a DVD, so it can only be played on the PS2) you can't rewind, fast foward, or pause. All you can do is skip scenes. So thats why i recorded it to VHS. All this week, and last week, I have been playing MGS3 (I'd watch the movie, but believe it or not, some stuff got cut outa it, so I wanted to see it all in its entirety), MGS1, and now im on the verge of beating MGS2. I'm preparing myself for MGS4 by going back over the storyline so I wont be totally lost when i play it. I'm playing them all in chronological order. I would play the original Metal Gear games that came with Subsistence, but there isnt any codes, and all i care about is storyline. So yea imma have to go back and play em when i get codes. Other than that, thats all that has been new in my life. Oh, I almost forgot. I HAVE BECOME LEADER OF THE NES LEGION. I went from recruit, to officer, to leader all in a matter of 11 months. yep tomorrow i make a valiant return to the hellhole. so i prolly wont be posting as much as i did these past 2 weeks. o well it was fun while it lasted. well now imma go finish up this movie, and head to bed so i can have another sleepless night and toss and turn til 6 in the morning. later!

well officially in less than 2 and 1/2 hrs (central time zone), it will be christmas eve. Of course right now it is the eve of christmas eve. Tomorrow I will be going to my Grandmother's house to have christmas over there. I really don't wanna go, for my own personal reasons that I don't feel like discussing right now,  but the only reason im going is for my dad. I used to be so excited to go over there when I was younger, but now I really hate going. I'd rather sit at home and watch 24 hrs of A Christmas Story (my fav. movie of all time), with a bag of chips, lying down on my bean bag chair. Of course, since my brothers got married, we dont have christmas at our house in the morning, so i just wake up and go to my other grandma's house, whose house I like to go to by the way, and open gifts over there. Then later that evening, all my brothers, and their wives and kids, and their dad and his wife, ya see my mom and her ex husband are friends, so they come to our house to open gifts so he can be with his sons. Before my brothers got married, they used to just stay the night, and we would open gifts the following morning, then go to my grandma's house. But things change, but I'd rather have it in the evening with my brothers, than be by myself opening gifts in the morning. Ok, well imma go pop in a christmas movie or somethin, and dread on going to my grandma's house tomorrow. Later!

Man why cant things be simpler, like the good ol elementary days. Back then, before christmas break, we used to just chill, and on the last day have a big ass party. Now, foward to high school, you have to sit in boring ass classes, doing work, studying ur ass off, worrying if ur gonna pass ans get a credit. *sighs* if only i had a time machine. ok well im off to finish my review. wish me luck this week that i will pas all my exams with flying colors. and for all you non-athiests, pray for me seriously lol.

wow this has like been my first update in 2 months. ive just completely been blowing off my journal. well not much has been going on in my life since my last post. i survived the traffic nightmare from hurricane rita and made it back home safely, and all my stuff was still here.

other than that, ive really been doin nottin but going to school. i went to homecomming for the first time ever. actually the first dance ive ever been to. im not really big on dances. but its my senior year so i figured i might as well go. so i went. i had an ok time i guess....my date pissed me off. when we got there she was like hanging around with her friends and all..which is kool i was doin the same.....then she starts flirting with this guy and says he's sexy and stuff and im like ok w/e. then she decides to start dating him and im just totally left by myself while shes off holding hands with him and stuff. really pissed me off....i get pissed off still thinkin bout it. but luckily my ex g/f was there....who was pretty much in the same boat as me....her date was neglecting her too so me and her just hung out all night and danced. all i did was slow dances...i cant dance to that friggin rap music. THATS ALL THEY PLAYED! mabye 4 rock songs, 3 country songs, 5 slow songs...the rest was nottin but that retarded-ass rap crap. but other than the music and my date neglecting me...i still had a good time.

lets see....other than that....yesterday i went and bought star wars episode III. i was originally going to go rent it, and i called my mom from school and asked her to call the video store and put it on hold, and she was like "actually i was just thinking about buying it for you", and im like "alrightythen". that was the smart thing to do anyways. better buying it than trying to get to it at the video store before all the nerds that have seen it 20 times in the movie theaters already go and rent it. im not a big star wars fan, though i do like the older movies alot....i enjoyed episode 1 and 2...not as much as the originals.....but i must say. episode III is by far the best yet. it was worth every penny. if u havent seen it yet, u need to.

well, just to let everyone know, i am now back from hurricane rita safe and sound, and my house is still in one piece. thank god! but man what a trip it was. usually it takes about 5 hrs to get from my house to dallas....na ah...not this time....it took 10 hrs..... because we were in traffic for 5 hrs getting there. oh man i have never been in traffic that was so bad in my life. but finally we got to my uncles and everything was fine. but i worried the whole time because that damn hurricane couldnt make up its friggin mind where it wanted to go. finally after it hit land, and didnt hit us, i was at ease....but still worried that the wind that we got, knocked down a tree into our house...and of course all the trees are next to my room. but as soon as we got in our driveway, my worries were over. i just had so much stuff to loose, and i could only take a few things....my most important things. my records, my clothes, and my NES. everything else had to stay. but o well my house is still here, my room is all back together now, and im thankful for that. but...i dunno if i could ever go through it again....i just hope the rest of hurricane season goes smoothily...so far our area has been ok...but my heart goes out to those who have no home and have lost loved ones....

well tomorrow may be my last day posting in the legion for awhile, or anywhere else on gamespot for that matter, as i am running from hurricane rita, which is set to hit on the coast close to where i live. and if its bad enough, i may not have a home for awhile, much less access to a computer. so as of tomorrow, it may be a long time before ya'll talk to you again. but all i can do is hope and pray that this passes us over. so just thought i would let ya know. as soon as everything is normal, and i have access to a computer, i will post an update in my journal to let everyone know im safe. but then again i may not be away as long as i think, if the storm isnt too bad.

yep today was my b-day. it was pretty kool. i didnt have to go to school today, so i got to sit around all day on the computer and play with my new guitar i got yesterday. then we invited my brothers and their wives and kids over, and we sat in the back yard and stuff. it was a good day. plus i bought my first pack of cigarettes today lol. i dont smoke, but they were for my dad, but since im 18, and i can buy cigs now, i wanted to act like a badass and buy them lol. now that im 18, that means if i screw up...no more juvy....its straight to county! of course ive never been to jail, nor been in a jail my entire life. im a good kid. being 18 also means i can watch pornos, buy cigs, buy lottery tickets, and vote! wow im getting old.....before too long i will be able to gamble and buy beer! though i wont buy beer because i just simply cannoy stand the taste of it....ugh i wanna puke. i guess i just plain and simply dont like beer. and i tried to puff on one of them swisher sweet cigars, and my god was it nasty. the after taste sucks. so i guess if i ever drink, its gonna be those tropical mixed drinks for me. but anywho i had a good b-day.

man what a morning this was. last night i went to bed early, but stayed up late listening to my ,oh so favorite music, classic rock, and went to sleep around 11. now mind you, last night i covered up my clock, my stereo, pretty much anything that gives off light, i covered up cause i wanted to sleep in peace. and not to mention i have black poster boards, foil over those, and a rebel flag over my window, so no light ever gets in. i like the dark.

ANYWAYS! at 3:00AM the power on our block went out. and i knew this because i heard a flick, then the air conditioner whirring down, and then my fan stopped. i cant sleep without my fan running. it gives me noise, and without it i cant sleep. its like a habit or something. ANYWAYS! after i sat there in the heat for 30 min, with no sound, tossing and turning i decided to get up and see if my mom and dad knew about this. well mind you, my room is dark as hell, so dark you cant even see your hand out in front of you, espeically when the power is out. i had no flashlight handy, so what do i use as my flashlight? NONE OTHER THAN MY NINTENDO DS! it has a bright as hell screen with the back light, so basically i had turned it on, and was holding it in the palm of my hand, trying to find my way. it was crazy, but thats one helluva flash light. after i knocked a bunch of crap down and ran into stuff, i finally found the damn thing.

so after i went to see if my mom and dad knew, and they did, i left the livingroom and tried to go back to sleep. NAH AH! aint happening. i tossed and turned for at least an hour. i lost a whole hour and a half of sleep. then i kept hearing this beep every 5 minutes, so after about 30 min i finally got my lazy ass up to see wat it was, and it was the battery going dead in my cell phone. so i turned it off and tried to go back to sleep, then at around 4:30 the lights came back on, and i was out!

so well, that was my morning. i know half of u dont even care but o well i needed somethin to grype about.
