It was far too easy and far too short. Also, I hated playing with Lucia - she was never as much fun as Dante should've been. It was a very disappointing sequel.
I'm enjoying it. I love the alchemy thing and stacking my weapons and armour to make them stronger. The only complaint I have is that I still can't make the horse turn round corners:oops:
I don't really get why so many people are slating the game having only read the review or played the demo. Give the game a chance and you will be hooked. The game really starts to get going half-way through disc one so if you stick with it till then you won't want to stop playing, especially once you start to unlock some of the better jobs for your shadows. The 360 doesn't have that many RPG's yet (I think I must have all the Uk ones, even Enchanted Arms) but Blue dragon is definately on my playing it till the disc dies list.
It's one of the best turn-based RPG's out there. If you're really into them and you like cute characterisation, great graphics and good musical scores buy it. I've heard people say it's too easy but I haven't found that. Some of the boss battles can be really challenging and being able to customise your shadows means you aren't stuck with the typical white mage/ black mage/ thief/ warrior party. I love FF too and I love this game.
