for me, i wouldnt mind switching disks, as long as both both games are more or less the same..

petrification no doubt.......cuz if i remember correctly you can't cure that ryt? wel if it cud, then confuse is the worst. hahaa

that's the point of a bonus boss, to make it harder than the main villain. ;) well IMO of course. haha

 anyway, i think the hardest boss by far for me was fighting Zodiak from FFXII cuz he does like so many moves that affect all party members hurting them BIG TIME along with status ailments. OMMGGGG!! but anyway, i finally got to beat him on my 13th? try. haha.
