Rock Band and Cartoon Network

Might as well put these two blogs together. I thought that it would be easier on everyone. I'm starting with a quote of awesomeness, yay awesomeness.

"Why does goo float?" (In Reference to a Lava Lamp)
- Ed from Ed, Edd N Eddy

I went to Best Buy today to try out the game of Rock Band. I first tried Guitar Hero 3 which was okay. The guitar was a bit stiff and the pick thingy was unresponsive at times. The Whammy Bar, surprisingly felt natural and was very pleased to see its reaction. I played a couple songs and the layout was alright. The Star Power went by too fast though in my opinion. Even when I built it up to its highest peak. Overall it was an okay experience. It just didn't feel like the Guitar Hero that I remember. But I did have some fun with it.

Then I went on to play some Rock Band! The first thing I tried was the guitar. I must say that it was the most amazing guitar I've picked up out of all the guitars I've played. It felt like the real thing. The buttons felt wonderful on my fingers and I enjoyed shredding on the lower frets during solos. Amazing. The only thing I felt strange about, was that you had to hold down the pick when you did the long notes. This normally would have been a issue. They extended the whammy bar so you can use it with your fingers. Not a big deal. I liked the wah wah switch thingy too. A great addon to the guitar. Next up was the drums. A lot sturdier than I expected. It was pretty cool. My problem is finding a way to play them. I can't do so well. I got a 60 percent on easy. Woo work. The mic was good too. It felt like a real mic. It's sensitve to touch so it was pretty cool to play the tambourine with it. Again, I'm not very good at singing. I did just as good with the singing as I did with the drums. I need practice, lol. It was a fun experience and my dad even joined in once. Awesome stuff.

Now, the Cartoon Network blog! Yay!

First up, is the Powerpuff Girls. One of my favorites. 3 awesome ladies with superpowers who can kick butt! What I loved about these girls is that they have their own perks. Bubbles can speak to squirrells. Blossom was a natural leader. Buttercup is a full blown tomboy. They were girls with their own things. What else draws me to them is that they have flaws too. They aren't superheroes who are always mighty and strong and can save the day. Sometimes, even the bad guys saved the day. Pretty sweet. Bubbles was shy and sensitive. Blossom was narrowminded. Buttercup had a love for money. They had some real personality. That's what I find to lack in some heroes. Once again, the day was saved by

SUPERCOW! Al rescate!" Cow and Chicken was one of the first crazy cartoons ever. Leading the way for Aqua Teen Hunger Force and others. I think that this show was brilliantly stupid. It's hard to pull off, but Cow and Chicken and Ren and Stimpy are able to do it with a strong fashion. There was an episode where Cow's best friend becomes a fly and she sticks it to her tongue via peanut butter. "Look Chicken, it's my new best friend!".. "What? A Raisin?" It's just insane. I miss it though. It does what it does so well, just like

It's so funny it hurts. There's a stupid one, there's a smart one, and there's a money hungry one. Together they make craziness in their cul-de-sac and it's always overly elaborate. What's funny about this is that, it always haunts them. The jokes always fall back on the Eds. They get a chance to get free jawbreakers and fate turns against them. There's a character named Rolf who makes me laugh everytime. He's a kid who arrived from some old world country. He has insane ways of life and it shows most definitely. "That's My Horse" is a folk song that he enjoys. Mostly because he can hurt someone with it. This show is always my favorite out of them all. There's others which I haven't named. They will go in the Notable Mentions. If I forgot anything you knew, let me know. I'll add them. :) Have a wonderful week everyone and spamity all over my blog if you will. :D
