So I'm sittin here at work thinking about how wonderful it would be to sit on my lazy arse at home playing my 360. I read and hear all these stories about these little a-holes who land jobs as video game testers and think to myself "Why can't I get a job like that?" The answer I come up with is life isn't fair.

I work as a AutoCAD technician at a Civil Engineering Firm, which sounds cool but it's not. I get paid better than minimum wage but nothing close to "well-off". I've tried many times to land a job as a tester. Applied at a few major game developers and I'm always checking career sections to see what's available. I wish someone would just send me an email one day and be like "Chris, we want to pay you to test our video games." That would be awesome. I thought about checking out on of those websites that supposedly help you locate a job but there are so many scams nowadays its impossible to see the truth behind everything.

Well that was my thought today about my dream job. I'm sure many others have had the same.
