Just get some component cables instead of paying sony $150. You can find one pretty much anywhere. Very hard to miss.ExoticAnimal

Well I have component cables, which I'm currently using, but I'd rather be able to play in HD again.

Hey guys, recently I moved my playstation back to college, and when I was taking everything out my hdmi cable got messed up, like the casing on it got opened up. I put the hdmi cable back together and it seemed fine but when I went to plug it into my playstation it bent up the prongs in the composite plug (Dumb of me I know). Anyway, since my playstation is out of warranty and I don't really want to pay the 150 bucks to fix one little problem with it, I figured I could try to fix it. How hard to you think it would be to replace it myself, and where do you think I could get a spare composite plug? Thanks for the help!

Hey guys, as the title says, I have a problem with my xbox live. Last night I turned on my xbox as normal and everything was fine, then when I went to play my game it went to a black screen and remained that way for about a minute. So of course I shut off my xbox, and let it sit then turned it back on, and thats where my problem arised. It signed me in as normal but it's not showing my theme for the dashboard, not showing my avatar and most importantly it says I have 0 gamescore now. I didn't think much of it and I continued to boot up my game and I everything is fine, but then I noticed it wasn't counting achievements either (I was playing AC2, and I knew I got achievements for beating the missions). I signed into my account on xbox.com and it was fine, though it still didnt show the achievements I know I had gotten, but yeah. Has anyone had this problem, or know how to fix it? I unplugged everything, and let it sit for a couple minutes and plugged it back in to see if it would do something, but it didn't. Thanks guy.

I think I'm the only person I know to have my Elite red ring... :/LadyJen92

haha nope you're not the only one, mine just died. I had two prior to this xbox die on me so I decided to invest in the "Elite" thinking that since i paid 500 bucks for it maybe it would last longer than a year and a half. Guess I was wrong about that, thank you Microsoft...I greatly appreciate it.

Hey guys, I think my MS wireless adapter took a crap and I was looking at other options for an adapter. I came across the wireless gaming adapters and they seem to be a good product that I can use with a lot of different things other than my 360. It seems that the "N" wireless adapters are the best, but I have a "G" router, So I was wondering how will this affect the connection if I paired up my Netgear G Router, and a wireless N adapter? What is the best option if I wanted to buy a gaming adapter to go with my G router, or should I just invest in another MS adapter?
