Actually, between the PS2, PC, and 360 (which all share the same servers) more than ten million people are playing it online today:D The FFXI universe is still expanding (via expantion packs, mods) and since it's the first (and only) MMORPG to feature internation servers, you can even play with people in different countries (there is a auto-transolater too.) So there are plenty of people playing it:D

Interesting!...But I hate most (if not all) MMORPGs! they offer nothing in return for your long hours hardwork! I mean,you play for god-only-knows-how-much hours per day to grind(and may I add ONLY to grind) all day long and let's just say you somehow got to lvl 50(I said somehow,so let's not emphisize here)...Then what? what did you get out of it? .....Ok,I know you tried hard to look for the answer so I'll tell ya....NOTHING!!! I mean zelch nana nothing!.

There's no story whatsoever for you to explore! The battle system is by all means anything BUT interactive! The enemies are almost always stupid(No AI present)......Ok,maybe the community's great,maybe making friends is great...but that's all there's to it!

PS:I'm talking about most MMORPGs here(I've played several of them,and somehow they seem to share the same formula...) and NOT FFXI cuz I haven't played it!

So tanks never existed in Final Fantasy, or other transport vehicles dealing damage? The Compilation of FFVII surely had its version of military weapons from Shin-Ra, and don't forget about the Galbadian army from Final Fantasy VIII. I am not really thinking about just humanoid troops, or a high-fantasy world(like Tactics). Players would be able to create large battles scene like the FMV of Dirge of Cerberus(Deep Ground vs WRO) and Final Fantasy XII(opening).

Maybe...I guess they should try this genre since SE's trying everything else..
