Empire at War is a great game. I'm also a Star Wars nut so you'll probably like. Just don't get the expansion pack for it cause it's really bad.

The number of Channels is probably the reason it is taking longer to start up. Just like Windows, it is fast until you start loading programs into it. :DgoofleeI have 3 pages of channels but mine only takes a couple of seconds
