You should also think about the Nvidia PhysX that carries the GTX series.

I think have the answer. It could be that the graphics card doesn't support 1080p. I don't know about ATI's, but in Nvidia's case you need at least a GeForce 9 series.

I recommend you to buy an ASUS motherboard with the Intel P45 chipset, which can cost you around $100. It also depends on the place where you buy your stuff.

Hmm... I miss my 8800GT 1GB GDDR3, I can't see where it could fit.
