Defintely not worth it. All of my thoughts have been expressed in previous comments (basically, a $400 card will get you around 80% of the same results) but I'd like to point out that Total War Shogun 2 is more of a test on your CPU, until you turn up AA and AF.

gtx 690 isn't out yet and they're already announcing a new card...

mw2 looks more real most of the time, but they all look good. But I know for sure that the best arent WaW or the original mw.

the enviroments kinda look the same...especially the woodlands. They didnt compare the open world part of reach though, where all you see is the sky and the distance. Like in the beginning, after you get back onto the falcon and you just ride around.
