@quinnd6: it’s a statistics question. How many players are turned off by it? Ideally, build the scariest game you can, have some options to tone it down to accommodate their level of tolerance.

@chubby170: maybe a question of not being used to it? Or the game you played didn’t apply effects correctly? I don’t need 60 FPS but have come to appreciate recent titles that achieve it.

@sebb: if it shipped as a disc, having a day one patch means shipping the game weeks before it’s finished. If that applies to digital as well 🤷🏻‍♂️ I can’t remember whether a downloaded game iincludes...
