Yes! For one time only the
"GAMES I DIDN'T ASK FOR REVIEW SPECIAL!"
Ok so the guy who stole money from my girlfriends bank while in my xbox live account used the microsoft points to buy 3 games.
Games I had no plan to buy at all. This could be seen as a bonus, I mean they would be a chance to experiance something I wouldnt anyway, and he doesn't actually get to have the games he wanted..
But really. It's not.
So first up is the game I was most likely to buy of the 3 , but ironically the least likely to buy of all this years summer of arcade games , Triles hd.
It's like being at the wedding of a family member you dont like that much, with a groom youv'e never met before surrounded by people who are much too low rent in the I.Q. department, who just love to dance to las ketchup and the birdy song... But theres no music , so they are dancing to nothing. While covered in bees! BEES! and your just hoping they have allergies. So they just bloat up and roll on the floor weaping tears of phegm , foam and honey.
And thats exactly what triles hd is like. Just worse quality.
Next up the xbox 360 game battlefield bad company. or BF:BC as people apparently like to call it.
Which makes it annoying from the off. Anyway It's odd, Ive become totally addicted to battlefield 1942. Its a game that just works. and is totally brilliant in just about every way. The same cannot be said about BF:BC which has bad cut scenes , voice acting , useless ai , on both the sides of the npc coin. Its still Alright a game. I mean I could give it some time, and might grow to like it. But it'll take a back seat to many other games first.
Lastly we have lego star wars the complete saga. This is extra painful as I already own the original lego star wars on ps2. And find the fact im having to play through the whole game again a little depressing. also the achevements are not all that worth going after. On the plus side, although I wouldnt have chosen to pay £19.99 for it , and if i was to get it i would get it on disk, Its alright as the game stands..... That is untill something you dont know is going to happen happens. You see , Iv'e been having all sorts of teck problems with xbox live lately since the hacking type event. I get dissconnected a lot. I hear from a friend who lives near me it's also hppened to him, so it might be local. But , and this took me by suprise last night, If your playing a downloaded xbox 360 game, and you dissconnect from live, you start getting a 10 min countdown. Every min that goes by, you get an announcement that you have 9 or 5 or whatever left.
This isnt explained. So leads to a sence of panic unlike any intended by micro soft. So even though you bought the game, you still only own it if your onlive. ALL . THE . TIME!.
And therefore , you never really own it.
What a load of **** Dont buy games from games on demand people. Disks are the way. Power to the disk drive people!!! raaaagh!
And thats my thoughts.
now for burgers for everyone. wahaaaay!!
The title was supposed to read "It's the "Games I didn't really want but am stuck with" Review special!!" but it was too long.
