If you can find a motherboard for the IBM cell processor. But even that could be debated at this point. Quad core Intel is the way to go as long as you have multi threaded apps to run on it.

I have my cable line hooked up directly to my crap TV tuner. I normally get HBO and other channels with the cable box, but the tuner only gets basic cable. Good enough for me though.

All I know is that if you aren't interested in building your own, you can get some good value for your purchases the last time I looked at what they offered.

Run Linux. The last time I looked they were considering adding DX10 support for the Wine emulator. Seriously though, Microsoft should have added DX10 support for Vista. I could use vista easily but don't. I find it annoying. Once crysis comes out, I'll be forced to load it at leas just for that game, but it really does hurt performance for existing titles. just look at the comparisons hardOCP did a while ago.

That's not terrible for an 8600. It does seem slightly lower, but probably not by much. I have an 8800 GTS OCed along with a 3.2 Ghz core 2 and I get 10,000 so the only thing I can guess is that it's your video card.

I'm not a D-backs fan, but I am a brewers fan and after watching Jeff Cirillo come up to pitch in tonight's game, I was wondering... Anyone else know any well known hitters in baseball that also pitched from time to time? It seemed wierd, but it was funny too.

It only shows you the information. Or at least, It didn't have the album art for what i was ripping. Before you rip it, some disclaimer will come upasking you to use thier online service for getting info about your CD. If you accept and wait a few seconds, it'll pop right up.

Yeah, it's really not that bad. I found the ofline experience to be great , so much so that even though it just so happened to be the first game I tried in my PS3 when I got it a few weeks ago, I played it more than resistance!!!! I still have probably played motorstorm at about a 3:1 ratio to resistance so far. Personally I thought it looked great, the physics were right on the mark and the AI of your enemies is actualy decent. I usually blow through races in first place, but there have been a few now that it has taken me more than two tries to get. Also keep in mind that downloadable content is coming soon.

I have been trying to purchase a 20GB PS3 for a while now and it seems that it's near impossible to find one short of ebay. ONline retailers are perpetually "out of stock" and all of my area retail stores seem to have plenty 60GB systems, but none of the lower model. Im talking about Targets, Walmarts, COMPUSA, Best buy, Circuit city, Sam's club, Gamestop, eb games and the like. Now I hear that there are rumors going around that Sony is planning on doing away with the 20GB model and I'm finding myself in a hard spot. I realy would like to spend the extra $100 on games, not features that I don't need, but i just don't know. has anyone else heard of 20GB PS3's sitting on store shelves??? Amazon Japan has plenty of them, so I'm wondering why I can't get on here in the states. Thoughts?

As far as I know a flash movie is really just a cmoputer file, not a video. i don't think there is a way of converting it because it is a completely different medium.
