my tv is a lcd tv , however hdtv ready ...

i noticed the text size on the games are really small . i played prototype , and i had a hard time reading the things on screen . during the game when you learnt to do different moves . they would tell you to press LB + something . i didnt know if it was lb or lt . due to which i missed alot of stuff in the game and i had to sit down read faq and see the moves list . similarly for assasins creed , nfs hot pursuit . among others . Im forced to play on pal 60 because some games dont support pal 50 . Pal 50 sometimes gives a better look to the games

im using the xbox 360 cable that game with the xbox to connect to the tv .

do i need some other cable ?... please help ...

oh and btw im using a 42 inch lcd tv (s0ny bravia)

In the xbox 360 console settings option , i get the option to choose between pal 50 mhz and pal 60 mhz . now i noticed on pal 60 mhz the screen looks blurred but on pal 50 everything is more sharper better and looks normal . the problem is i cant keep it on pal 50mhz always is because some games run on pal 60 . otherwise it doesnt let me play . what is the difference between these options ? why do they exist

also why is there normal and widescreen option too . on widescreen it looks messed up but on normal its ok . is it for some particulars tv . secondly im using a sony bravia lcd tv 42 inches to play my xbox .but yet when i play some games , like nfs hot purusit and dead rising , prototype and others the text is so small its too hard to read. can anyone help on this .Thanks xbox buddies

gears of war 2 i gave it up . it was pretty bad as i had to wait to ages and i still coudlnt find anyone to play it . how retarted is that . in gears of war 1 they had a good option wherein you could join a quick match . wonder why they didnt make it simple and do it in gow 2 .

i hate the fact there is a shotgun lag as it really pisses the hell off . all the other guns seems to work jsut fine . its just shotgun ...sigh... by the time i even shoot the damn thing someones already chainsawing me or sniped me . didnt epic bother to release a patch ? btw did anyone try gow 3 multiplayer ? how was the shotgun there?

ok i know this has probably been asked tons of times before. but i have been playing multiplayer alot recently and noticed about a second or half second lag when i use the shotgun . is there a way to fix it . i seen other post like this on google . but now much help . has epic fixed this ? yet when im spectating other people using the shotgun it seems pretty fine

dont get me wrong here guys i would love to play the new donkey kong and super mario bros . theres nothing better in reliving your past . :) . i will definely pick up resident evil as well . its just that i wonder why wii doesnt have a vast library of 3rd person or fps games . they are remaking games from the past instead of focusing and investing some new games.im pretty sure both of your ll guys own a wii . would it be a waste to invest in a wii ? ....btw im not much of a ps3 guy .. id get the xbox if i really had to because of gears of war , and halo reach . but screw the ps3 or xbox 360 . is the wii good according to yourll. does the wii suffer from problems like the 360 rrod ?

oh and one more thing guys i dont care if the wii has the worst graphics . remember its not the graphics but the gameplay and the story tht makes a game . and also the fun . so thts why i thought i would give the wii a try

so im going to be getting a wii in the next two days . i wanted to take some of your opinions .i had a 360 before . and i played over 30 titles . i enjoyed it to the core before i sold it off. now im looking for a change. i was thinking of the wii . is it really that good? in the next few months except for metroid i dont see any other potential games comming out . im more of a 3rd person game lover which the xbox 360 has alot of titles . but the wii doesnt have too many 3rd person titles. can anyone suggest me me some mature / teen games on the wii . im going to get red steel , and no more heroes for sure . but i obviously dont see my self playing wii sports or wii fit :S and am not a zelda fan too . i want some games which have more of a challenge or intense gameplay like no more heroes or metroid.even 1st person will do .

bottom line is should i collect money and wait for another 2 or 3 months till i have enough cash for a 360 . or should i take d money now which i have and buy a wii

so i already went on the wii section but i need some answers from my 360 brothers. so i have had a 360 for almost close for 2 years. played over 25 games . in the begining i was so crazy about modding and preserving my dvd's i went ahead and modded it . obviously i voided the warranty . after all the fun and a nice roller coaster ride i got the dreaded RROD yesterday. now ofcourse i spoke to a dude who repairs 360's and he said he would do the x clamp fix . but i know its just a temporary soln . and its going to keep comming back and i will have to keep shelling out money. so heres what im asking your'll . im going to repair my 360 , sell it off .. and buy a wii . also later on i wont have enough of time to play games so i think the wii should suffice. . .

ps: keeping in mind since i got the RROD is this a viable option . bare in mind i cant send it to ms cuz i modded it ;) adios

unfortunately i cant have both . i have to sell my 360 to get a wii .. . and the second thing is i already got RROD . and the x clamp fix is just a temporary fix not permanent and im sure im gong to get it again . . . so i sell it now while i can get a good chance and take the wii right . seems sensible right?

guys guys guys slow down here . the only reason im selling off my 360 is because i got the rrod .yes i did repair it . and im selling it off for a cheap price. but let me tell you its not that i dont have time to play a 'console' . think about it .. once i start working .. i come home by 7 or 8 in the night...my minds too stressed out to play anything .. so which console would i choose? a wii .. if you ask me why .. im jus looking for something where i can just play for about 40 to 45 mins ... whereas the xbox 360 oncei play a game i get so addicted i end up playing for 3 hours straight . theres something just to addicting about the 360 lol ;0 . so does my answer justify my actiong sguys? does it seem reasonable enough for you .
