Sad To Hear

I have just heard that my Japanese professor had passed away. :(

I heard that when I started my new semester this year that she was sick and that a friend of hers will be teaching in her place. I was wondering what happened here, but then that news struck.

I never expected this to happen. She was a great professor and she helped me a lot whenever I struggled with any project or classwork. The last I ever saw of her was during the Spring 2007 semester: finals week.

I was the last one to finish my final exam (everyone else left the classroom and I was all alone) and turn it in to her. Her last words before I left were, "Sayonara. See you next term."

It never happened, but now I acknowledge this loss and I will always try to make both my family and herself proud.

I Have Become An Editor!

It's been quite a while since I've posted any new blogs, but here's the good news:

It's official! I am now an editor of the anime series Green Green. :)

I not only just became editor, but I was also the one responsible for making this anime as a new addition to this website as well.

This never happened to me before and now I am taking full responsibility of this particular anime series. Anyone of you should check it out and see for yourselves!

Just place in the title and read the plot! Hopefully, y'all might like it!

When I found out about this series for the first time, I couldn't stop laughing at every mishap that the characters kept getting into!

Made It Back

Man! It's after midnight right now and I'm finally home!

It's been only nine days straight that I've been at Orlando and what a week that was! Returning home felt like I never left my house at all!

What really inspired me was the animation facility at the Disney-MGM Studios because that was where three Disney films were primarily created, like Mulan, Lilo and Stitch, and Brother Bear (all other Disney films of 1989 to 2003 had certain scenes animated at that location). I was very disappointed that the actual animators of those films are no longer working at the facility (only the desks, equipment, and artwork they made and used were still left intact), and that they moved to Burbank, California, but I did get an idea on how animation really works. Hopefully, I come visit that place again.

What really was unusual compared to San Diego is that it is very humid (warm) every single day there, but when I returned home, it was really cold again. Anyway back to the trip, I visited every Disney theme park among the place. The Magic Kingdom and Disney-MGM Studios were the best ones above the other Disney parks and it certainly was a hassle with a lot of tourists walking around the park, especially during the winter season. Mickey's PhilharMagic and Stitch's Great Escape were the best attractions I went to at the Magic Kingdom.

Not to mention that I went on a Disney Cruise to Nassau in the vicinity of the Bahamas where that Atlantis resort was, and Disney's private island Castaway Caywhere Pirates of the Carribean was filmed at (and the Bahamas, of course) and they even showed the Flying Dutchman ship from the Dead Man's Chest film! That was worth something to see!

Coolrapper out.

Finally!!

Today, all of my final exams have been completed, so now I am off to Disney World in Orlando!

Even though I may be far away from home (I'm from San Diego, CA.) and will be flying there alone for the first time, I'll get to see what the place has in store!

I just hope anyone of you out there has something to say. I won't be back for the next nine days. Hopefully, something new happens on this website while I'm gone.

Until then, friends.

Whoa!

What a day! Sorry I haven't been writing any new blogs for a while (I've been studying harder each day as much as I can).

Anyway, y'all won't believe this, but I'm heading to Walt Disney World in about 12 days from now.

Of course, my family is flying to Florida before me, while I have to stay behind for one day because I can't just take off from my classes (Finals are on during the week we leave and I am not allowed to miss it for strict reasons).

As soon as all tests are taken care of, I could leave.

Luckily, my flight is during the evening, so it won't interfere with my studying.

Zatch Bell: If I Were There

My character name is Jarvis.

I am a new student at Kiyo Takamine's school and became his best friend on my first day. Anyway, after school I walked home with Kiyo just to know him better. The moment he opened his front door, Zatch comes running out and starts hugging Kiyo. "Welcome home, Kiyo." He says. "Huh? Who's this?" "That's Jarvis. He's the new student in my class."

"Hi, there!" I said. "Hello, Jarvis," Zatch greeted. "My name's Zatch Bell." "Well, now that the introductions are overwith." Kiyo answered. "We've got to find out where, Milordo Z is hiding." "Right!" Zatch agreed.I paused for a moment, with a blank stare. "Jarvis, what's wrong?" Kiyo asked. "He's got something in his mind I bet." Zatch added.

We walked inside the house, where I sat down on his living room chair. Kiyo and Zatch sat onthe couch next to me and asked, "You seemed troubled. Do you think Milordo Z has something to do with it?" When I was about to talk, some tapping sounded on the door. Kiyo answered the door, which revealed Megumi and Tia at the door. "Megumi! Tia!Great to see you!" Zatchexclaimed.

"So, tell me, Kiyo. Have you found anything out, yet?" Megumi asked. "Not yet." He anwered. "Who's your friend?" She asked. "Oh. This is Jarvis." "Hi, Megumi." I said. I stood up and shook her hand, "It's an honor to meeta pop idol here in Japan." "Uh, thank you." She answered. I letgo of her hand, only tonotice a letter on Kiyo's front porch. I picked it up saying, "Hey, Kiyo. This is for you.""Huh?" Kiyoreplied, as he took the letter and read it.It seemed that Dr. Riddlesknew about the whole scenario of where Milordo Z was hiding all along. Kiyowas all angered that he did all that hard work for nothing, until I told him to calm down.

We boardeda plane to SouthAmerica, where we met Apollo, since he was the one who organized the whole travel arrangements.

I'll just skip ahead:)

Folgoreand Kanchome, Wonrei and Li-En, Ponygon and Kafka, Dr. Riddles and Kiddo, and the restof us took shelterat a hotel, where we stayed for the rest of the night. Dr. Riddles mentioned that Milordo Z's real name is Zofis (courtesy of Sherry and Brago). Duringour stay,Kanchome began teasing Wonrei and Li-En over kissing each other. When it stopped, Kiyo asked, "Jarvis. Why don't you explain, what is troubling you when it comes to Zofis." "Well, since you brought up that Sherry and Brago hold a strong grudge against him before we came to this place, I'll tell you the truth," I began. "He was responsible for fusing my Mamodo permanently into me."

The fun ceased all of a sudden, and everyone's attention turned to me. "That's awful." Tia said. "How did this happen?" Li-En asked. "Well." I said. "About several months ago. I had my Mamodo, Raviv. We used to fight alongside each other and haven't given up since. One day, we were enjoying ourselves around my hometown in America, that's when HE came in. Zofis along with his partner Koko, challenged us. Raviv and myself had the ability to fuse together (courtesy of a spell)so we could fight as one."

"But how do you use your spell book?" Folgore asked. "Yeah, where is your spell book, anyway?" Kanchome asked. I continued, "The moment I fuse with Raviv, my spell book is fused along with us. So that way, I can say each spell without even reading the words." "Amazing!" Exclaimed Kiyo. "I never knew there were some Mamodo out there with such abilities."Li-En said. "Please continue." Megumi pleaded. "All right." I said. "The moment we started fighting, we had the upper hand at first, but before I could finish him, Zofis had some kind of bottled potion in his hand and threw it at us. It shattered, andsmoke spewed out and engulfed us. As the smoke cleared, Zofis and Koko were nowhere to be seen. I tried todefuse from Raviv, but I couldn't even do it. I was shocked with what happened that day, and I'll never forget it. But, as long as Raviv resides within me, I have abilities that no one even knows about."

"What are they?" Zatch asked. "Well, I'll say that I can run atgreat speed and even jump even higher than an average human would."

"Seems like Raviv's power is a gift." Dr. Riddles theorized. "Perhaps." Ianswered. Kiyo suddenly stands up from the couch and says, "Then we'll just have to finish Zofis' reign, once and for all!""Thanks, Kiyo." I said. The group started walking right in front of me, laid their right hands in front, while Wonrei says, "As long as you have us..." "You're never alone." Tia finished. I placed my hand on top of all of theirs, and was overwhelmed by such friendship. "Thank you, all." I answered.

We all began getting some sleep, to rest for what lies ahead for each of us, but it seems that we'll have such an adventure as long as we stay united.

A Personal Screening

When I went to Disneyland last April, I had no idea that there were some attractions that were replaced with current ones.

For example, the Honey, I Shrunk the Audience in Tomorrowland replaced an old 3-D attraction called Captain EO, and I was curious to find out what it was.

What shocked me about this 3-D feature was that the title character was Michael Jackson! Oh, man did I ever miss that!

Anyway, I managed to find Captain EO and watch the whole short film for myself. There was a private screening of former attractions somewhere deep in the internet. Aside of that, there was also a glimpse of the old Alien Encounter attraction at Disney World that is now replaced with Stitch's Great Escape. If I only I had seen these sooner :(

However, I am no longer disappointed about these :) . I am just glad I got to see some screenings of these former attractions.

What Luck!

I finally own the first Negima! DVD. I was looking forward to watching this and now it's finally in my hands!

And speaking of DVDs, I am finally a trusted contributor of a certain anime series (and you can tell which one it is)! This has never happened to me before!

Anyway, the anime series certainly IS extremely different from the manga version, not just by the use of color, but the voice actors really do know how to bring these characters to life.

Of course, there may be some alterations done for the anime version, but at least now I can hear the voices and not just read them all the time (though I still think that reading is not such a bad idea).

I can't wait for another batch of episodes I haven't seen yet!

By the way, who has seen the first six episodes? What did you think of it?

(Now that it is the first day of August, I only have twenty days left until I head back to class).

New Anime?!

This is unbelieveable for me to realize, but here goes.

While I was reading through a magazine rack of Entertainment Weekly on the stands of Borders Book Store, I noticed that a certain manga I read called Sgt. Frog has now been turned into an anime!

Sure, some may already know about it, but to those who don't know, it's all about an alien frog named Keroro who resides in a family home in Japan after he failed to conquer the Earth.

This seems to be more of a comedy/sci-fi anime series with at least 100 episodes. I can't wait for it to be dubbed.

Good to Hear

To Deershadow and Knowledgeseeker: I appreciate you two for giving some useful info. on what's happening on TV. Anyway, the point is, new episodes of Inuyasha, Naruto, and others are simply amazing and very informing. What was disappointing though is that I never got to see the new episodes of Naruto last weekend because I went to Disneyland and California Adventure with the use of a 'two-day hopper' offer. It was enjoyable, but it took me away from my personal time with my TV schedule. I'm sorry I haven't spoken to any of you two for quite a while since I am extremely busy nearly every day of the week, but I just hope you reply back to me sometime.
