Gears of war is one of the greatest games ever created the game blows out any other online game like halo 2

i am finally buying an xbox and I don't know which game to buy i was thinking about buying halo 2 or Far cry but i dont know can u help me.

Far cry is a very good game but it is almost the same as halo 2. I think that far cry has a better 1 player than halo but halo has a better multi player.
