yea i was but most agree that the picture (slightly) and sound (in a major way) are better with hdmi. i know the component cables are more reliable, but this is america, just because its not broke dosnt mean we cant fix (and accidently screw up) it anyway. might as well use hdmi if i can find a brand thats proven to work with the tv and ps3. Just thought i could benefit from the experiance of others.

yea im actually going to wait till thanksgiving and search the net for those thanksgiving/day after sales. With the recession sales should be even sweeter (theres always an up side)
