dought it farcry ran on pretty slow hardware very well and crysis will be the same crytek is in to optimization, it only requires sm2 rather than sm3 like ubi requires now.Crysis has a DX10 mode. I fail to see your point. ;)My point is that although SM2 is the minimum, it is capable of using all the way up to SM4. i read a forum on crysis-online.com where the producer said it will work fine (med-max settings @1024x768) on a p4 Ht 3.0 ghz 7800gtx or any card w/ sm 2 & full directx 9 support plus 256 megs of ram also you will need a recommended 1.5 gigs of ram. *just a quick note, but the part about the 256 meg card must also include a 256bit memory speed

dont listen to the 'tards they have no idea of what they're talkin about b/c the 8600 ultra 512 mb dx10 is going to be coming in march or april for under $200 and for both AGP and PCI-Ex16 so just wait a month or 2 just like im doing and survive w/ ur card b/c i also have a slightly older card (x850 pro agp)
