i am a big fan of the UT series and played it since the beginning but imo ut3 is the worst of all ut games. ut3 has the fewest game modes and the guns feel crappy especially the flak gun which doesnt feel powerful any longer. i also dont like the ut3 engine it looks to "consolish" for me (i always turn of that whole post processing und motion blur thing in all games cause i hate it but that doesnt work in ut3 without messing around with the .ini files) the game also has a lot of bugs and i think the net code is done very badly -> regular disconnects and poor ping on a 6Mbit connection. so i am a bit dissapointed with ut3 and hope the game becomes better when new patches get relesead.
i didnt like c&c3, sp is nice but mp is all about tank rushing no tacticts no strategy. it also feels too "consolish" for me. wic is one of the best rts i ever play also because i dont like base building and ressource collecting its all about tactics

There's only been a few games that have wowed me, Gears, Halo:CE, (K i lied theres like 4 zelda games but im not going to list them) and basically any Blizzard game ive touched
if you can find Dungeon Siege for "almost" free it would be the best i have to suggest you dont get dungeon siege 2, it's totaly worst than the first one

omg dont buy dungeon siege (even for free :)) its the worst game ever
i dont compare bioshock to system shock but fact i played ss1 5 times and ss2 4 times and was fascinated by the game every time, bioshock on the other hand i didnt even finish the first time cause i was falling asleep of boredom playing it.
