I have recentlly heard a rumor that CoD3 will be released this year.  This is something that worries me quite a bit.  Here we just really got our hands on CoD2, the map builder hasn't been finished, the MP is full of bugs and hackers and their going to make a new game entirerly already?  That is the biggest waste of money on Activisions part I have ever heard of.  The only way this would make sense is if the game takes place in the pacific theater, then I can see realeasing it so soon, otherwise just make an expansion pack.  I'm crossing my fingers that we loyal CoD fans don't get the short end of the stick and that Infinity Ward makes an effort to not match but exceed previous successes.  That said I will still probably buy CoD3 whenever it comes out and no matter how bad it sucks, I guess I'm just a sucker that way.
