So I did some research on 2012...

So I looked on wikipedia for information on this "2012 phenomenon". It turns out the mayans didn't intend for the world to end at the end of the calendar. It was to celebrate a cycle of having their civilization go as long as the cycle they made. So they would celebrate the completion of a cycle. Now other people are saying one of two things will happen in 2012. Either there will be a combination of earthquakes, tornados, and other natural disasters striking the earth. Or people will recieve a "spiritual transformation". I believe neither of these will happen because I'm listening to the Mayans...you know the people that actually made the calendar and know why the calendar ends in December 2012. Seriously, some people need to look at the facts before they start making alternate conclusions. It's not like some guy on the street with a knife. Even I would run away from the guy, but when The Mayans are actually explaining why the calendar ends where it does, and you're ignoring them and saying the world will end at that time, you're the guy with the knife, or girl.;)

GS Ranking Rants: Phoenix Down

You know how when an aircraft crashes they add the word "down" to tell the flight control tower that they've crashed? You may notice that users with level ten are given the rank Phoenix Down. So basically you're calling me amainly useless piece of trash with wings. I know that all the ranks are names of things related to do with video games like a character or level. I guess for some reason when I hear the word Phoenix I think of firearms. But when you hear the second word...well lets just say the excitement has disappeared. Yeah...level 10, uploading videos which I might do soon. But still, I think that when you level up and the rank is not as positive as the one you just got rid off, that's kind of disappointing. I will be making more GS ranking rants so keep your eye on the bottom right corner of your profile page ex. mine is http://www.gamespot.com/users/crazyluigi199

School days...off gamespot=UGGGHHHHHH!!!

On school days I may only have a couple of hours for recreation before a sports game starts or Survivor or The Amazing Race starts. Not to mention rec baseball starts in the Spring all across the country. Which means I won't even be able to look at the site!!! I really wish I could be considered a user that you guys could be interested in 24/7 but school just kind of interferes with that. This is not a blogpost where I say "I'M LEAVING GAMESPOT FOREVER"like Tano218. Luckily he changed his mind shortly after he made that post.:) I will attempt to get 15 minutes of Gamespot a day. But hours of Gamespot on the weekends as probably most of you users reading this.:P Craziest addiction isn't it?! Anyway peace out.

Hmmmm... Medal of Honor

Well, i'm thinking about getting medal of honor for the pc. I've seen a lot of negativity about this game mainly centered around it's single-player campaign and how playing it is nothing like the online multiplayer. I agree with these negative comments. But I probably won't be playing single-player that much anyway. Hopefully, my usually unsuccessful internet connection will pull through and actually work. They say the number one reason for lag issues or not even connecting at all is because of firewalls that you currently have activated. The only problem is that I disable my firewall every time I try to play a game online. Anyway the online multiplayer looks epic. Unfortunately, playing the single-player campaign won't help you improve for multiplayer. I will do either oneof two things today. Get Medalof Honor or watch RED.

A HUGE line of personal achievements

I love it when people track me. Especially when they just come out of nowhere. You think that when you're talking about something that you love talking about and no one's listening there really are a lot of people that are. Also, when you get a bunch of achievements that you had no idea that existed or that you would even get to. About 3 people tracked me in the past 2 two weeks just coming out of nowhere.I even got two new achievements in one day(Neighborly, Gamespot Fuse). When you think about it, trackers are like subscribers. They like your material so much that they get an RSS feed whenever you do or post something on the site. Your achievements are like the badges on your military uniform, there for everyone to see. Not to mention the community manager, Jody Robinson, picked one of my blog posts for the blog bunker on the community blog.Your influence/popularity kind of enhances the overall value and performance of the entire site. Just wanted to let you know.

We...The Gamespot users...are the future

Now, we all know that we, the Gamespot users are totally superior to people who have Machinima, IGN, and Metacritic accounts. As well as those people who just don't care about video games that much...in my opinion (casual) is the word. We...as Gamespot users have a duty to keep the video game industry popular as well as successful. This can be done simply by discussing video games through blogposts, forums, etc. When we analyze the performance of video games, we are talking like true professionals. I could work for NOA one day and help Nintendo actually come up with a good idea for a fps. Another personmight create the Xbox 900. Another user may help Sony make a completely different definition of graphics that totallytakes theboundaries of technology to a whole new level.*I've never seen Metacritic before but it's meaningless* Hmm... Metacritic should be changed to BETAcritic because their website is so am. *I have been on IGN an this is meaningful* IGN'S staff is probably a bunch of mothers because theyare so generous with their reviews it makes me sick. They could rate a piece of worthless shovelware and give it an eight out of ten. That's just outrageous! I don't care how nice they are. *I've seen Machinima and these are meaningful* Machinima is always showing off way too much it should be illegal. They're always about the great things they've done in the past, but Gamespot is all about the future, but they don't overhype things like Machinima. Isn't this whole post about the future?! So obviously, this post isn't in favor of other video game reviewing sites. Do you agree with this post? Let me know in the comments.

Stupid Conduit Lock-on!!!

I'm starting to think the reason i've been losing so many online multiplayer matches is because they are using that annoying lock-on.I never use the lock-on because I don't feel like it'sa true test of a gamer's ability to be successful. If it were a professional match I would probably win those matches because they probably would DQ you if you used it. Seriously, first glitch abuse, then hacking, now THIS!!! I can't stand it. If I buy Conduit 2 it will be because of the single-player campaign. Wish me luck with that one! But i've seen some improved single-player campaign footage so this might work.

My Perspective of The Video Game Industry (Poem)

When I see the video game industry I see the best form of entertainment on this planet

When I see the video game industry I see the greatest minds, greater than technology

When I see the video game industry I see gamers that don't need to sleep to dream

When I see the video game industry I see people with imaginations that exceed a dream's existence

When I see the video game industry I seeskill beyond human abiltity

When I see the video game industry I see a hardcore gamer talking about how he sees the video game industry

Worst Promotion Ever!

Some promotions are valuable, and some are just nothing but a measley gimmick. This promotion belongs to neither category.;) This promotion is so bad gimmicks look DOWN on it. You know how baseball teams have a home game where you can bring your dog to the game? And you know how there's always one dog that goes insane and runs on the field so they can steal the baseball? Seiously, what were these people thinking when they did this? Don't they know that dogs best friend is any spherical object in their sight? No crowd, no distance, no security member, no hot dog will ever get in the way of them leaping onto the field and getting the ball. What if they meant for this to happen. Maybe they thought everyone at the game would get a good laugh out of a hypnotized dog chasing after a baseball. They did...but was it really worth making you look like a complete retard?

Epic Facebook R.A.N.T

Hey guys! Today i'm here to tell you a few things that irritate me about facebook. Note: Some things stated in this article involve stupid things people do on facebook, not what the makers of facebook implemented. #1. I hate it when people modify their names on Facebook like "Madison Babay" or "AleyasobeautifulHoward" or even "George Lopez" by the way these are real facebook users that I know. I don't understand why people do this. Maybe they do this to look cool, but obviously their not since someone is using their mods in a facebook rant. LOL! #2. One day we will get a social networking service that has quality games and apps. That day has not yet come. #3. INSANE NEWS FEEDS!!!! Seriously, the only reason i'm on facebook is to write on walls and chat with people. I don't want to know what their saying to their friends. #4. This refers to #1. I wish you could report people for INSANE STUPIDITY on facebook. I hate it when people post pictures for no apparent reason. Like those pictures where people take pictures off a mirror just to show their friends their new digital camera! Who cares!!!!????Don't they realize I get a news feed of this ****?btw could u guys come up with a good acronym for R.A.N.T. I'll use te best one for future posts.
