Beware, this is going to be kind of a long post because I want to be as clear as I can.

I just bought this Linksys routerlast week from Newegg because it was the best rated, and when I got it I quickly set it up and was pleased to find that it connected to my PSP fine, and I'm guessing it would have for my PS3 if I had tried it. I then ordered this Encore Electronics wireless USB adapter When I set it up, it got to a part where I had to enter in my DNS, subnet mask, blah blah blah in order to secure it. I think I entered it wrong. Because when I got off that, I tried to connect and it wouldn't work. So when I tried to get back to the part of the router setup where it asks for my DNS and everything, I was planning on erasing the details I gave so it would work again.

But I can't get to that part of the setup if I'm not connected to the Internet.... So I don't know what to do. Right now I connected to a neighbor's unprotected internet and it's working fine, so it's not the adapter's fault. When I connect the adapter to the neighbor's connection it's very weak and works well, but then when I connect it to my own router I can't get on the internet. What's going on?

Not to burst your bubble - Free online play is not an exclusive. Nintendo's console is free too. And do a topic search before you post, this thread already exsists endlessly.

MonkeySpot

Damn dude, whenever I see a post of yours in a thread it always has to be negative...

But I'd say Uncharted 2 or Demon's Souls :)

DVD if it's a comedy or something like that, while most action and some drama films are made a better experience with blu-ray

[QUOTE="Snipes_2"] Asking for a link on what the guy said is "Hassling the Topic Creator" now? Snipes_2

I was talking about the guy who was being particularly immature and suggested the TC was on his period... Asking for a link isn't hassling at all, smarty pants

You had my quote in there too, That's just MediumBread. He jokes around with everyone, I actually don't know if he hates Obama or not.

Ah, well then my apologies. I saw a dozen other people guilty of the same hassling offense though, I just picked him out

Must be that time of month again...

Of course when Obama-haters see a topic they don't like, they don't take the time to post a reply with well-thought out comments... They just have to hassle the topic creator.

[QUOTE="Logan1616"][QUOTE="Snipes_2"] Why didn't you say that in the first place?MediumBread

Because I didn't? Who cares if I did or didn't, that's not the point kid....

Eve is the only pay 2 play MMO I have tried and I thought it was great, though I haven't gone back to it in a while. Tired a lot of free mmos but they are all pretty much garbage.

October_Tide

Yeah, right now EVE is a huge possibility. I think the people who say it's more like a job just haven't immersed themselves in the world, or don't like sci-fi

I want to get into an MMO soon, but I'm having trouble finding the right one. I love sci-fi so I want to play EVE, but I hear it has a steep learning curve and is more like a 'job'. I heard WoW is fun, but I also heard there's too much grinding. So what's you guy's final say on what MMO I should try out?

With my new job my first project to save up for will be my own computer, as my family's is terrible. My budget will be a round $650, only a little bit more if required. I'm hoping to play the Dawn of War series and Starcraft II well, and any games before that I presume I should also be able to play well. I'm not looking for an amazing $1,500 rig.

So, can someone walk me through on what to buy and from where without breaking $650? I'll have saved up enough by late October, early November. Side note, I know nothing about computer hardware.

ionusX

do you need an operating system, monitor, mosue, keyboard, speakers? or are you just looking for the tower of the computer itself.

Operating system, but I have an extra monitor, mouse, keyboard, and speakers, although they are a tad ancient. They'll get me by for the meantime, and I'll gradually buy newer of each as time goes by. For now though, the tower and an OS
