God, I can't believe this has gone on for 19 pages now....

The man is obviously a troll and the best way to deal with his kind is to simply ignore and refrain from posting in their topics.

Did I miss something? Is it "Bash the PC week" or something?

You guys must really be running out of ideas on how to bash each others consoles to be doing this.....

Man what's with all these attacks on PC gaming recently?

Heck why do you guys even delight on every bad news that comes the PC's way?

Can't you guys just go back to attacking one of the 3 consoles that you don't support, simply because you don't own one?

Honestly guys, the PC is happily sitting on the sidelines content with giving us some of the most graphically advanced games, which eventually helps in the advance of gaming on every other system.

As for piracy, well you can't spin the fact that it affects all systems. It's just been worse on the PC simply bacause it been around the longest.

As for console piracy, all I can say is that it's indeed quite easy the have your 360 and Wii modded. I can even easily buy pirated copies of games for both consoles on the street much less download games for it. Of course that is if I own one of any of them, which I do not.

I would say PSP, especially with Crisis Core coming in the horizon.

These are the main differences between the slim and fat PSP:

  1. Weight - the slim weights about a third less than the fat version.
  2. Memory - the slim has twice the memory of the fat version. This would supposedly allow for faster loading times but as of now there hasnt been a big difference between the loading times.
  3. Controls - the control pads on the slim are slightly more elevated giving it better response.
  4. UMD slot - the slim has a new umd slot which only requires a simple tug on the cover hatch to open.
  5. Battery life - using the battery of the fat version would allow twice the amount of battery life on the slim.
  6. TV output - seperately sold AV cables allows for TV output with exceptional video quality, altought the resolution is tied down to 480 by 272 pixels when playing games.

[QUOTE="white_sox"]What? Considering the sales are great for both consoles and they're both coming with good games.deadmeat59
where are all the new games?

Your just not looking hard enough sir.

Try other sites that focus on one or both handhelds, you should find what your looking for there.

Although if you still want to go to the "BIG" sites for your handheld gaming info.....then I suggest IGN, they, in my opinion, cover the latest handheld news faster and more comprehensively.

I don't know why people hype this game. It's gonna be no better than Dirge of Cerberus.goblaa

Well to be honest just about every SquareEnix game gets hyped, its like a law or something:P.

But it would be best to reserve judgement on weather the game is gonna be no better than Dirge of Cerberus, since we really have no idea just how this game will turnout.

meh..........DS is still the better handheld.....but you cows are too blind to know that..........

gamefan67

Well I as I stated in my previous post, it all pretty much depends on what kind of games you want to play on your handheld.

PSP owners/fans pretty much want the same gaming experience that they have on their consoles.....only in a more "compact and mobile" way. We are only "blind" when we desperately try to force our "preferences" on others and in the process try to "bash" what those other people want instead, even if you have to resort to using "lies and misconceptions" to achieve it.

Well Im glad that there hasnt been much "blind fanboyism" in this thread.

Lets just look at it this way....

The DS and the PSP are both great and successful handhelds, with the DS being the more successful one, theres just no denying that right now.

Now the question of which one is actually "better" is a bit more difficult to answer since both have their strengths and weaknesses.

So what it really comes down to is what your preference in handheld gaming is. The DS has the more traditional and time tested handheld games which as it seems, is what most handheld gamers want. While the PSP, just by looking at the games its offering is obviously trying to appeal to console gamers who loved the PS2, in other words...."console quality games for handhelds". So theres really no reason to bash the PSP for having games made for consoles since that was what it was made for.

So it really is all about which type of games would appeal to you. If you want Traditional handheld games then the DS is the better handheld for you and for those who just want to play the same games they play on their consoles, only this time they get to play them on the go, then the PSP is the way to go.

To Mr. Bulletmath and whoever else who thinks the PSP is a flop,

Why do you people keep on insisting that the PSP is a flop? I mean honestly!!! Perhaps the question should be, "Why do you want it to flop?". I have honestly never seen someone sooo intent on "trying" to prove that the PSP is a flop, despite it being more sucessful now than it was ever before. Honestly people!!! is it because you just cant stand that your precious handheld now has REAL competition, competition that may one day overtake it? Is that why you want it to just fail and die now so badly? In other words, arnt you people just feel threatened by it?

Now Im not saying the PSP will overtake the DS this generation..... but the next one.....who knows?

All in all the reason your calling the PSP a flop now is basicly the same reasons used to call it a flop back when it was just released! Yet 2 years later the PSP is still going strong, Over 22 million units sold( nearly more than the gamecube and Xbox sales combined mind you.), more games coming to it than ever before, increasing sales, and a new version coming out in September.

With all those FACTS stated, the PSP cannot be considered a flop, not now, not ever. Its actually more likely that we will see a PSP2 next handheld generation.
