I am not sure what I think about a change to the ending. I don't know if I would even play, though I understand why people would. My problem is two-fold. Bioware thought this was a satisfactory ending to the series (?!), and statements I have read are to the effect that they wanted people to talk about the ending(s). Certainly they have the right to do what they want with the ending, and generate 'buzz'. But don't they also have a responsibility to those who have contributed greatly to their success? You know, customers, gamers? Sure, they put in a lot of work, creating the worlds that people wanted to play in. But we paid to play in those worlds; they did not donate them to us. I just feel the ending was very much wanting, and I think the end of a trilogy may not be the best time to make a statement. There is art, and there is art. This medium is not art that people look at; it is art people experience.
