First Personal Shooting: Reflexes are skills, you can;t simply think you just memorize the layout and weapons and hope you can hit your target without any skill involved. You say if both had similiar teamspeak, except they don't. Its a whole group effort, each individuals has their pre-determined skill.
Fighter - Skills involves on how your use each button press, which type of attack; high, mid, low.. Reflexing for countering and escaping. You are skilled knowing when to look for opponenets and when to use certian combos.
Action Adventure: Skill is still involved in playing them.
Real Time Strategy: Thinking and planning out are skills. Skills are talents and you are talented at thinking. You have to be skilled at micro and macro. You have to be skilled in how to play each race, or specific race. You keep bring up memorization, which is still a skill.
Sorry but you are wrong, you need to be skillful or taelented to succeed in games. You can simply play them, but it doesn't mean you adquired that level of skill. You could sing all day and it wouldn't make you talented.

actually... i do think it involves a lot of "learning" the gamenot all but i'd say it plays a big part just like how you need to practise a musical instrument: of course some people pick up games faster than others but still... i'm going to use halo 3 as my example.
when you see someone who has been playing for ages, and is really good, it's becase the player has picked up the little things that raise you above the others... of course different people put these kind of little tricks to different and better and worse uses. it's kinf of like something you need, whereas skills and "talent" you just have it or you don't
