Please notice the extremely faded numbers II, III, IV and V inside the red circles . I is distinctly visible since Crota's End is released already. I cannot make up my mind whether they are hints at how many expansions about to come, or how many more Destiny games there will be or they are just there for no reason. You think of something, let me know!

Apparently destiny 2 will have a new class called "loremaster" to make up for the thin storyline in Destiny 1. It won't have any attacks, it will just be there to tell you a story....thoughts?
- We also know that BioWare has mentioned that the new protagonist is not going to be someone who is already well-known like Shepard in the beginning. The story and the game will about his/her journey to becoming a legend and its associated challenges. So if it was to be Shepard's descendant, it will add an extra twist of pressure in terms of galactic expectations and personal struggle in becoming someone of his/her own identity and accomplishments under the limelight of Shepard's legend.
- New species
- Able to import previous trilogy save-files and choices
- The epilogue from ME3 with the child and grandfather talking about Shepard's legends
All the above facts led me to believe that it could be Shepard's descendant. But I am probably over-thinking it because this might seem too far-fetched and also obvious at the same time. And, unfair to the new trilogy they are trying to make.
I don't understand how this game can not be a prequel. How can people not be able to think about this? ME3 had 3 endings that were drastically different than each other (in concept...insert rgb hater comment). I chose synthesis for example. How the F is that going to work in a sequel?! Some parallel universe BS or just act like 2/3 of ME3's endings never happened >.>. If not its a prequel... which I F*CKIN HATE.
ME is a sci-fi universe, alternate dimensions and string theory is a very plausible way to bring in another lore during the same time frame, and it could be brilliant if executed right, and this is BioWare we are talking about. I have complete faith on them regarding story and character development. They have proven it again and again in all their titles (except the ME3 disappointing ending).
Is it possible to add an option for horizontal scrolling for browsing the comments on this site in addition to vertical scrolling. It might make it easier for users. Just a thought.
Thanks, CP
@Black_Knight_00: hahhahah oh God your "assembly line" phrase cracked me up, I am a LSS certified black belt engineer and I am laughing so hard right now...it also reminded me of the Charlie Chaplin movie "Modern Times". I know they have been making games with a set formula at least the missions in the game, but I really believe this guy is trying to change that, I guess only time will tell. You can feel in his interviews though that he really is very passionate about taking the AC franchise to a better direction. His example of the game "Passage" remains his inspiration for his work which means he does not just go to work to earn a salary, instead he truly wants to deliver quality product which is the reason I am hopeful. I loved the feeling of revelations even thought the story was a bit smashed together, which is why he might have a better chance with Unity since he has had more time to help build it.

I am glad that Alex is at the helm of AC Unity, his passion to integrate gameplay and narrative is clear and honest, and has not changed over the course of years. We need more people like him in the industry.
On the other hand Jade Raymond was behind the scenes for the inception of the AC series. Do you believe she should have been the primary creative director of Unity?
