@RaananZ: Have you tried something like... leaving your summon sign outside so you get summoned into someone else's game to kill the boss there and maybe that will somehow trigger it to work in your game? Dunno man just throwing stuff out there.

It's not so much about the grinding/ soul farming as it's about everything else: Say, you want to get a specific item but you kill all the enemies that potentially drop it - tough luck, man... There is also the issue of limited titanite materials you can harvest and therefore limited equipment you can upgrade.

Limited titanite materials? I have like 8 or 9 slabs, and you can buy unlimited shards. You can harvest chunks in the belltower. I have way too many titanite stuff, and I wasn't even looking for them.

Have you tried killing another boss first, to come back for the Covetous Demon later? It might sort it out.

Otherwise, your game is definitely broken.

I think they're probably seperate things, the Wizard's Companion is a key element in the game. It is involved in the story and is completely accessible through the game's menu. You can scroll through it and zoom in 'n stuff. As you do sidequests or progress the main quest you will unlock more and more pages (spells, stories, alchemical formulas, etc) The guide is probably a guide about items, hidden treasures, good familliars, etc. It will probably be helpfull, but i'm pretty sure 100% of what's in the guide is on the net aswell. You can get a real life Wizard's Companion by ordering some special edition I believe, you also get a drippy fluff doll with it. And you should definitely pick up this game, It's awesome and contains (imo) the best new char this gen (Mr. Drippy). He's crazy witty and has a sweet accent.

They're not even on the same page, the stories, characters, soundtrack from ff IV-X are among the best gaming has to offer.

TES Oblivions was great, didn't rly care for Skyrim. FF is definitely better imo, they're stories I often think about and I even played them recently on my ps3 because modern games are pretty bad in comparison to them. They're timeless.
