People say that Kobe is selfish. It's not his fault Pau passes the ball as soon as he touches it. Both players played bad but at least Kobe went down swinging rather than waiting for someone to bail him out on every play. Pau had two wide open looks in that 4th where he just straight up blew the possession. He stuck Ron in no mans land on one and threw the ball away on another. That's idiotic and for a player as good as him inexcusable. Kobe wasn't good either, neither was the defense. This hero ball stuff needs to go. IDK if it's Brown calling these plays or the Lakers expecting Kobe to baby them in every close game but it rarely works. 1 player and 4 spectators, not good.-Halftime-
No one acknowledged Pau's game for the 3 quarters the lakers were winning; he does one bad play and the loss is entirely on his shoulders. I just don't get it. They had ample opportunities to win the game but they kept going iso with Kobe, and thats where the fault lies. Brown should have really been setting plays for Bynum he was great tonight.
It's funny seeing the lakers fans blame this on anyone but Kobe. Seriously, he was 1-8 in the 4th jacking up low percentage shots but some how it Pau's fault.
