Problem: You changed the window background color, then close the window. When you open that window again, the background color changes to other color that you didn't choose. A work around: 1. Choose a window that you want to change the background color. 2. Select View -> Show View Options. 3. Change the background color. 4. WITHOUT closing the Show View Options window, switch to other window by clicking on other icon in the sidebar. 5. Switch back to the window you want to change the color. The color will change to other color that you didn't choose. 6. Close the Show View Options window. 7. Switch to other window and the switch back.
