Well, its not like i'm going all out crysis rig -_-...

Just some light gaming is all. Maybe starcraft 2 or some diablo 3...But at the end of the road, i don't see my self playing computer games that much. Also, I'm short on cash .

edit:I mean, unless you can find me a better card..I'm flexing;10 dollars flexible to be exact -_-.

If you can find me a better 40-50 card gpu, help your self ^_^.

Sigh.. So what kind of ram are we talking about? I'm a COMPLETE noob, and I have no knowldege over the computer except some words and terms here and there. Can you guys pick a 1gb ram right for my computer?(So that I can have 1.5 gig. My current rig has 2x512 mb rams. I'll just take one out for the 1gb ram.) The specs are in the second post

EDIT:I;m just curious. Is this card any good?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121287

If I get this, I cou ld probabbly afford the ram upgrade..Also, the people there reviewing the card said it could run fallout 3 and TF2 fantasticically

Ugh, no, I keep telling you and I will tell you again. It is not worth getting, even if its next to nothing in price. Get the 8600GTS I showed you for only $10 more. You will be able to play Fallout 3 maxed out with spectacular frames on your resolution.

As for your memory, here is an exact replica of your current memory standard: DDR2 533MHz Dual Channel

Kingston ValueRAM 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

It's pretty cheap at $22.99. Just replace both 512MB sticks. Trust me, 1.5GB won't cut it either. You'll NEED 2GB for Vista.

I already considered that. It said I need a 350 watt power supply MINIMUM -_-..I'll thanks you for the part for provoding me the ram!

[QUOTE="TheWizard_1"]IF your case is long enough, this is THE BEST you gonna get for $50: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131057 kaitanuvax

Really? I've found a 8600GTS for $50, which destroys that card.

PNY Verto GeForce 8600GTS 256 MB GDDR3

With Vista, you NEED at least 2 GB of RAM, especially if you're going to attempt to play any games. Your performance is going to be HIDEOUS if you don't upgrade that first. Don't even bother with the video card upgrade until you get the RAM.hartsickdiscipl

SECONDED.

I like to spend 50 dollars max.. But i'll consider 10 -20 dollars more..I'm really on a tight budget, and I also need to BUY the games. I'll get a one gig ram if it dosen;'t work that well.

I looked around on newegg to find some cheap video cards, and I found a couple that SOUNDS good, but i'm not sure..The one requirement is that it has to use a 300w power supply.

and I do expect to play some games(left 4 dead, tf2, css, ect..Mostly valve related. I also would like to be able to play some Diablo 3 and starcraft 2 in the future -_-)

This was one of my prospects:

SAPPHIRE 100264L Radeon HD 4350 512MB

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102806

If you want to help me choose another, pleae, help your self.

^the lsit where I found my choice.
