so today i bought gears of war for the pc and when i got home i went to go install it, it took a rather long time but it got to about 75% through and just stopped and my computer froze, so i rebooted my computer and tried again and it only went to about 50% and froze up again. I have tried this numerous times and now im lucky if it gets to 25%. does anyone know what i have to do or if i can fix this problem?????
ps it now will always coem up with a thing saying ERROR 1305, error reading from file D:/program files/microsoftgames/gears of war/war game/cookedpc/environments/COG_City_Ephyra.upk.comp. Verify that the file exists and that you can acess it.
this will come up at a random time during the installation
ok, so i went out,returned the game and gotnew one. AND IT DOES THE SAME THING. so i figure that im putting the product code in wrong, the product code is "xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-5 Z29L", there is also 5 spaces given when im installing it. I do not understand why the spaces are between the 5 and the Z29L but if anyone knows the correct way that i am suppost to be filling it out then please help me.
Hello, i have recentely bough the game "lost planet: extreme condition" for pc. i installed steam and when i was almost done installing it asked me for the "steam activation code" on the back of the manual. when i typed in the code it told me that i typed in the wrong code, so i did it again and again and again and the same thing kept happening. If someone has already gone through this or knows what i should do then please please help me out. Thanks.
