being a massive fan of unreal tornament myself it's sad to see that not many players are comitting to the classic arena FPS games but i hope they don't vanish alltogether.

What new ideas though....? I couldn't find any when playing..

well it has to be the travel powers due to the fact that CoH had only like what 3 powers that would benefit you and your team but never a way to use it as an actual weapon in combat

ack this is what i get for not checking before sending...the last bit i was meaning write that it would be foolish to say that DC is a WoW killer i mean if u look at the list that WoW has taken on and beaten without breaking a sweat you can see y but i think that DC Online brings some new ideas to the board that works well with this kind of MMo genre.

[QUOTE="al0rion"]

I didn't get into the Beta, but I plan on purchasing it at some point in the near future after it comes out. I have high hopes, hopefully it'll get the things right that Champions and CoH didn't.

Hope the heavens hear you....cause the product as it is now is doom to fail.....

not quite but i see a truly potential MMO here unlike RF online, so here's the run down for both WoW and DC online.

tough first of all lets be honest wow graphics is old no total brainer their but can run on most modern computers even tough they have updated the old content zones u have to admire what they can still do with it

DC is brand new and quite good but any older computer will suffer but u got to love the design that went into it

the WoW questing system is simple enough to go with and even tough they have given a number of quests where u can u turn in where u r u still have to go bck to the quest giver and turn it in that way.

the DC journal system is extremely good as you don't need to go bck to the quest unless told to you just open the quest journal and turn it in their but some quests do need you to return to the guy before turning it in your journal which i think is a bit weird.

PvP system is competitive yes and addictive but is always bugged i mean this season alone had a few bugs that players took advantage of big time and blizz is probably is getting fed up of PvPers cheating.

DC PvP where u can play in arena or play as one of the legends of DC themselves however the ques in the beta meant that i haven't seen any footage or bugs

u get achievements in wow for yourself and now guild which isn't to bad but some achievements r just totaly pointless due to how much u need to do before u get it.

DC has collectible which reward u with loot which makes u want to explore but might get annoying if u can't find that last 1

as you can see this MMO has some potential to be good but saying it will be the WoW killer is always a bad idea WoW has dominated the MMO for years but it doesn't mean they will be their forever blizz will have to go enough is enough.

i've played many MMos in my time including the abselute terrible horror of RF online so trust me when i say...

It's best to play it as PvP MMo due to the fact it has some serious PvP combat and is very good tough they need to sort out some balancing issues and avoid PvE once lvl 10 or you will hate it

I'm worried about flying mounts and big cities. What if a guild wants to raid a city again.....they don't even have to fight their way in thru the front door.....they just drop from flying mounts wherever they want.... I don't like this....

well look at it this way on the bright side a lot less travel time and no need to use the flight paths anymore

besides i am annoyed about the cost to up your mount speed is another what 4k of gold i mean this is just really ticking me of big time and a rip off just to prevent the WoW server AH prices to rise like that ever worked before...

if their one game that was so over rated that it makes WoW look like MMO heaven it's RF Online it was totally and utterly pathetic and i wouldn't even call it a mmo it's more of a joke!
