@anthracisb @damo2113 its becuase of the way their client registers the telegraph system, it amplifies the effects of lag, becuase rather than having you abilities hit on a dely, they instead land on delay and may cause you to miss entirley, you have to aim ahead of players and predict moves alot more, which in PVP is rather difficult.

@billzihang The Oceanic server is Based in Dallas, alas :( In terms of a potential server in Australia. Carbine have given official words that they dont plan to unless the game gets big, and our player base increases.

Jeremy gaffney himself even stated pretty simply, that he feels Oceanics have been given a pretty rough deal.

But Ultimatley i dont think it would be commercially benificial for them to set up here. But if any company would do it, it would be carbine.

So fingers crossed :)
Personally i can push through it, and with a little help from pingzapper, i get around 200ms. which is not optimal but playable.

@anthracisb Im in Australia, the latency is a killer, and really hampers combat. But that is the harsh reality of overseas servers, and i blame my government and the internet companies here, more than carbine for that fact :(

@jyml8582 Its funny you say that, becuase one of the biggest complaints is how easy and boring the first few levels are :P
Different strokes for different folks, am i right? :P

Admittedly i think wildstar fails in easing players into there game, especially those new to the genre. But honestly that's becuase there are so many new and innovative systems in the game. So there is alot to learn in a short period

Im really sad to hear you quite at 12, housing was only a few levels away, and you probably didnt get to experience the first shiphand, which is a hellova lot of fun :)

Id encourage you to reconsider, and perserver. Once you get a handle on the games systems, you will realize the complexity in learning them is well worth the fun they provide.
