New Blog!

Hello Everyone!

I'm back!

After a long break, I thought its time to get my butt back on tv.com, write another poo blog and jibber on for a bit.

Since my last blog I've changed a little bit.

I officially became an adult (it don't stop me from acting like a kid though)

I became more metal (I decided metal is my life- balls to all the rest of the music)

I became geekier

I fell in love with a load of new shows and movies (Kyle XY, Transformers, ect!)

So where shall I start?

Collage

I'm 18, and people expect me to leave collage and get a job, but I'm too lazy and I've managed to stay for my 3rd year at collage- which mean's I'm now a collage legend.

You automatically become a collage legend if you manage any of the following:

Stay for 3 years or more (I have accomplished!)

Cause massive amounts of controversy (I have accomplished!)

Look like a complete and utter freak (not accomplished- YAY!)

The freak one is very hard to accomplish, but there are 2 people at my collage who have managed to obtain this status. They are:

Frodo- His nickname says it all. He looks like Frodo Baggins, Smells like Frodo Baggins; He even dresses like Frodo Baggins. He's just a legend and he knows it. He's a great guy.

Little Red Riding Hood- He must be at least 7foot tall, and he always wears this red hoodie. He looks like a wrestler, yet he speaks like a little girl. Another legend, who is also a great guy.

What else have I been up to since I wrote my last blog?

Gigs

Static- X

Static-X are great live. Their Industrial sound is amazing live and it's great to mosh to. The pit was great. You know when you've bin to a good gig and you've left with bruises, cuts and a sore neck though head banging. (9/10)

Evile

Evile are an upcoming British Trash Metal band, and they are brilliant. They did a free gig @ Virgin Megastores in Manchester, and it was amazing. It's the first time I've ever seen a pit in a shop. lol. You can see the entire gig on youtube.

Movies

Rob Zombie's Halloween

I loved John Carpenter's original 1978 slasher movie, and also love Rob Zombie's House of 1000 corpses and The Devil's Rejects, so when I heard that Zombie was doing the remake of Halloween I nearly wet myself (metaphorically-lol).

I finally got to see the movie last night, and I was very impressed. The movie is a lot different then Carpenter's original, as it focuses more on Michael Myers' childhood. This film is a lot more brutal than the original as there are more deaths and we see them in all their gory might. The film has great performances from Sheri Moon Zombie as well as Malcolm McDowell. Zombie takes a whole new spin on thisbrilliant horror film, and while some fans won't like it, others will love it. I loved it. (9/10)

Transformers

I had never really been in to the whole Transformers thing, but after seeing this film my opinion changed radically. I went to the cinema expecting a pile of rubbish, and I left a Transformers fan. I know the movie isn't faithful to the cartoon but I loved it. Since then I have watched all the Transformers cartoons old and new and am now a big fan. (10/10)

The Simpsons Movie

Everyone loves the Simpsons. So the Simpsons Movie is here. Me and my girlfriend went to watch it, expecting a great funny film. Funny? I was conned out of my money! The movie was full of cheesy unfunny jokes. The only funny part was when you saw Bart's manhood. lol. (2/10)

Music

Devildriver- Last Kind Words (2007)

I have always been a fan of Dez Fafara since Coal Chamber, and Devildriver have been one of my all time favorite bands. Last Kind Words is the bands latest offering and its great. Devildriver are getting better by the album, their first 2 albums were amazing and so is this one. (0/10)

Arch Enemy- Rise of the Tyrant (2007)

Arch Enemy- Melodic Death Metal masters. Rise of the Tyrant could possibly be the best metal album of 2007. Pushing boundaries, and always delivering Arch Enemy are more important now than ever before. (10/10)

www.myspace.com/archenemy

Evile- Enter The Grave (2007)

Evile- Upcoming British Thrash- This is the band's debut album. Evile are going places. They could be huge. (9/10)

www.myspace.com/evileuk

Drowning Pool- Full Circle (2007)

Best know for their mosh pit anthem, "Bodies"- Drowning Pool are back with their third album, and new singer Ryan McCombs (formerly singer of Soil). This is their best album to date. McCombs' voice adds a lot of feeling to the bands songs, but still manages to keep it brutal. (9/10)

Games

These Games are for the X-box 360

Bioshock

Bioshock is a first person shooter set in the underwater city of Rapture. This game is amazing- the graphics are beautiful, and the story is cool. The only problem is its too short. (10/10)

Transformers

Based on the movie, you can either play as the Autobots or the Decepticons. The game has some nice touches, but the controls and camera are a bit poor. (7/10)

Irecently got my gamerscore to 18,141 - I have the highest gamerscore in collage- everyone else is between 6000-7000. If you would like to add me my gamertag is danideathsrike (It was supposed to be danideathstrike- but I missed out a't' .lol)

I've been with my girlfriend now for 1year and nearly 2 months - yay!

Well, that's all folks. Till next time.

Thanks for reading a big pile of rubbish.

Dani :)

Hey

Hey.

Last time i wrote a blog i promised new and improved blogs, and i haven’t lived up to that yet, but meah.

I have decided that i need to write more and keep my brain working, so i found my old fanfiction.net account and got up and running again. so look out for crappy stories off me.

Here's a old A Clockwork Orange one that i did:

Heroes

The last two episodes of Heroes have been pure amazing entertainment. The cliff hanger of Parasite was well written, and i've been thinking about it non stop since i saw it.

The addition of Malcolm McDowell to the cast was nice as well.

Music

I recently got a few albums, here's what i think of them.

Sevendust- Alpha (2007)- I've never been a big Sevendust fan, but after listening to this my opinion on them has changed. It was an ok album. (8/10)

The 69 Eyes- Angels (2007) - I really like The 69 Eyes, and this is pretty much the same as their past works- cheesy goth rock. (7/10)

Bowling For Soup- The Great Burrito Extortion Case (2007) - I've always love BFS, and this is a great album full of pop punk anthems. (9/10)

Saliva- Blood Stained Love Story (2007)- In my opinion this is Saliva at their best, its got lots of emotion in the songs and you can tell they put a lot of effort in to making it. (10/10)

Within Temptation- The Heart of Everything (2007)- I have always been a Within Temptation fan from the start and this is probably the album that will break them into the mainstream. (8/10)

Movies

Ghost Rider - Im a big comic fan, and i have to say that i was disappointed when i watched this. I thought that Nick Cage actually did a good job but the film was far too cheesy for me, and the CGI looked poo.(4/10)

Epic Movie- Im a big fan of Scary Movie and the sequels (apart from 4- it sucked) and i wasn’t expecting much from Epic Movie. This movie isn’t amazing but it has its funny parts (7/10)

Hot Fuzz- From the makers of Sean of the Dead, i was looking forward to seeing this. I left the cinema without laughing once. Not expected. (3/10)

Blood Diamond- Lots of action, but the story didn’t interest me. (7/10)

Games

I recently got my 360 fixed so i splashed out and got sum games

Gears of War- A great game with lots of action, but far too short (9/10)

Prey- A brilliant sci-fi shooter with lots of originality. (9/10)

Quake 4- its not exactly new but its a great game (9/10)

Well that’s the longest blog i've ever posted so i’m quite pleased with myself.

Till next time

Believe the lie (that i just told you-lol)

Dani

Rocky Balboa

I believed the hype. As a Rocky fan i should.

So did a packed cinema.

I left very dissapointed.

Slow and old, the new Rocky movie is heartbreaking to watch due to Sly Stallones appearance.

I'd give it 3/10.
