So I am going to spend 1000 watts with my PC (which is ATI based any way) to play on a tiny screen in my house? Useless!! It would however be a little more interesting to stream over the WEB for real portability which will make it something like Onlive for Steam of course.

PrimoFilipino, You are absolutle right, It has to do with your profile. My main focus is always to to maximize every pennys that I spent, so even when I have acces to good shaders I like to play games even when they are not great in graphics, lets say Quake 4 or Penumbra. And yes I think that I am going to miss Kill Zone 2. My hope is that Sony dares to bring it to PC platform one days

Ratnutz, He might need to wait for patches. Remember that at the beging with Crysis version 1.1.5 there were some performance issues plus Far Cry comes with Crytek Engine 2 so as soon as he gets the patch he should be better. Also keep in mind that in for Crytek games you can modify every single parameter to improve visual quality and performance. I learnt that after finishing Crysis.Now you just said well Far Cry 2 should look better than Crysis so ther is no need to run it at Max settings to get even better shaders than Crysis. Good Comment

I really want to see the Day when Crysis comes to consoles. You might need to spend at least 300 to 500 dollars to buy the next generation to be able to play Crysis at High Settings. But if they can get it for actual consoles, well every bosy knows hw it is going to look like.

I already said that even a 3 to 4 year old computer will be able to play high demanding games if we do not have windows. Lets pary to be redeemed form Windows so a better OS can arises. Also I said that in "Indepedance Day' They probably used a Windos Disc OS to infect that starship. However Hardware is still capable to compensate poor Windows desing. Rember Windows is designed for dummies too.

PrimoFilipino, I agree with most of what you said. Where I can not agree is that Console gaming is cheaper than PC. Think about how much money will you spend during lets say 6 years in consoles and games. At least you will buy next generation during that period of time. Consoles games will never get low prices like PCs. So with that money spent in Console gaming you will probably be able to afford to build up to two computers and still buy the same titles for the PC

AgreedTech, You only will upgrade your machine if you want to play at highest settings which no console can perform. Besides that if you want to go that way waht I would do instead of replacing my ATI HD4870 I would upgrade system memory which is cheap. Let sya by that time GDRR5 is available, but if not my actual card by those day will cost around 50 dollars and with cross fire capability I will have double performance that I have right now. PC it is alway cheaper you just have to MANAGE WELL.

Guys all of you own a freaking PC. That is how most like you are watching this page. You should take advantage of it if you really want to experinece high graphics and save money. PC games are up to 50% cheaper during release season but not right away.

ratnutz14, When it comes to console I really rather PS3 because of the Blu ray. With 360 you only have a gaming console however I will dare to say that there is a big gap in power between the two of them. They just have different Architecture

Guys, Guys when you all switch your current console to what ever is coming. I will sill have my same PC and yes the games will always be cheaper for PC. AMD Phenomen. 3 GB Ram ATI HD4870.
